The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. I would advise anyone going there to ask for a room at the back as the front rooms are very noisy with traffic. The TV didn't work as the ariel was faulty. But a very comfortable place to stay

Great hotel if attending events at Ally Pally as we were. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, especially the lady on reception. We stayed in a Superior room, had everything you would need and a comfortable king bed. Lovely shower! A few minor niggles prevented a five star rating mission door handle on bathroom cupboard, and too much noise from the street can be heard in the room (not sure if windows can be further insulated for example). But for a one night stay in that part of town, it's very good indeed, and we would definitely return.

Good location for function in Crouch End. Busy road but quiet enough with windows closed. Parking on site which is a great help. Staff extremely helpful. Basic hotel, comfortable and clean.

Downside was very little sleep as room was so hot and had to go and get help to try and get sort this out, which they did but a very hot room takes time to cool down to get some sleep. the heating was poor.it was cold and although there was heating for part of the night it went off and there was no heating in the room although there was heating in the bath room. I mentioned this to the worker on the floor and he too was surprised that there was no heating.

The hotel and my room were clean and comfortable. Travelled to London for the NFL Europe game. The hotel is located in a blue collar area with shops and a market close by. I would definitely stay here again! My only gripe is that it’s located across from a bar. The Saturday night I was there, music and singing kept me up and was unable to sleep. Sunday night it was quiet.

DO NOT STAY HERE - I booked a superior room with a king size bed. On arrival was given a twin room which I refused. Was then put into a 'flat' where they locked the door to the kitchen and lounge so I couldn't use it. The bedroom in the flat was basic - 4 foot bed not king, no water, not coffee making facilities, no telephone, no hairdryer etc, not even any glasses to drink from and on top of that, no water. This is a diabolical hotel.

Bathroom sink is small, and has a very large mirror that projects out from the wall, covering the entire depth of the sink, so you cannot use the sink to brush your teeth etc,, unless you really stoop below the mirror, with your head into the sink. Didn’t require any cleaning of my room during my near week long stay. On the last day asked the owner for the bedding to be changed, he expressed a reluctance, as it was my last day. When I got back, it hadn’t been changed. It was the only thing I had requested, and it wasn’t done. I was anointed when I got back. It created a poor impression.

not bad could get better
Staff friendly, hotel is very noisy and draughty during the night being on a busy main road. In need of a bit of maintenance in areas ie blinds in my room wouldn't work and whilst asleep in bed could feel draughts blowing on my face from the window. For the cost of this hotel I would expect a lot more.

The hotel is fine and basic which is ok for a short stay in London. However for me personally I just wasn’t very comfortable in more ways than one. I paid for a twin room but asked for the two single beds to be put together, this wasn’t done for us, so we pushed the beds together ourselves which left an annoying gap in the middle. The fan didn’t work and I was actually quite warm so would have appreciated the fan being on. The cleanliness wasn’t great, coffee marks in the inside of the drawers, soap scum in bathroom and the light in the bathroom also didn’t work

Positives: • Location- a short Uber drive to Alexandra Palace • Price • Quiet- did not see or hear any other guests at the hotel. Negatives: • Elevator didn’t work, had to carry our suitcases up to the second floor. • ’free parking’ is street parking on a busy road, we had to park quite a walk away from the hotel. • All hotel rooms at this hotel are left with the doors wide open when there is no occupant, anyone could walk into any rooms. • Me and my friends were very confused by house much rubbish was in our room upon arrival, including empty plastic bags, food, even a hard hat with indecent images and writing scribbled on. • The place was quite unclean, honestly just felt like someone had just been living in it moments before we walked in • The bedroom walls have some strange marks and stains on. • The shower in the bathroom isn’t ‘walk-in’ as advertised and doesn’t really get hot, also water gets all over the floor when the shower is used because of the poor design. • There was a strong smell in and around the bathroom area Used this hotel as it was reasonably cheap, it did its job, but would not return again as none of us felt the cleanliness was up to a suitable standard.

Nice hotel pity about noise
We arrived at the hotel and the manager was very nice took us to our room lovely and clean .Nice room . One snag next to reception . No mind .Went off to Alexandra Palace for concert had a nice evening .Got back at midnight found a takeaway then went to bed . Talking started and Telly on loud in reception. Non stop talking all night long until 5am.Went silent for about 1 hour then it all started again.So never slept all night only for one hour maybe. Very inconsiderate .So no wont be going here again.

Me and 2 friends stayed for the LG gig at Finsbury Park, great hotel with friendly owners, very helpful for directions. Rooms are very comfortable, but since it was 29 degrees all weekend it was very hot with no windows open as there wasn’t ac. With the windows open the road noise can be quite bad but it’s bearable. Wood Green (tube) Bound Green (Tube) & Palmers Green (train) all writhin a 1 mile radius. Definitely would stay again

Good location
I have stayed here before, it’s in a convenient location. There is only residential street parking which is to be expected given the location, but the writeup does say there is parking - which I feel is a little misleading. The hotel is very secure with an outer door key etc, rooms are nice and modern. Will come here again when in the area. 20 minute walk to Wood Green tube station.

Excellent hotel - very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent room and amenities therein. Hotel near to good restaurants and on a main bus route. Very close to North Circular Road. Palmers Green train station is a bit of a walk away.
