If this is "3-star"...
Outstanding: environment, service, cuisine. Easy access from highway, lake access, parking, beautiful rooms and views. We are practically planning driving routes now to require an overnight there. That's a top-notch hotel! Their consistent concept about what's important is winning.

5 night stay
Excellent hotel with under cover parking for free . If staying more than a night ask for the half board option as will save you some money . The ferry to Lucerne was worth the trip , also a good base to do some if not most of the attractions

Positive energy time :)
We had a fabulous times at this hotel and hiking up to the top of the mountain around the area, such a great area to spend times with friends or even family for whom like peaceful time. We love every moment staying there will be back again for definite . All the natural settings there such a healing place to be .

Magical Lake Lucerne.
Absolutely fabulous location, right on the edge of Lake Lucerne. Restaurant is waterside with magical views over the lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Finish in the rooms was to a modern high standard. The shower was a little tight! We had a 2 room family suite where the beds were very comfortable. I would love to stay again.

Location excellent with gorgeous views. An hour ferry ride from Lucerne was magical. Staff were so friendly and helpful. New and clean throughout, Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced.

Fabulous!
Top marks form me. Stayed for a night with family, just a fabulous place, spacious, clean , beautiful scenery. Restaurant and food was also very good. Staff was excellent and made the kids feel special. The beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to leave!

This Hotel should be a 4 star or more. All members of staff were simply a,axing and accommodating. Had the privilege of meeting with the owner who was an extremely nice guy. Will definitely be visiting again.

The restaurant was amazing! My only negative comment is we were there when it was warm. There are no screens on the window which is fine. We left the door and window open when possible. My complaint is a small fan would have been very helpful!

Perfect position on Lake Lucerne
The hotel is in the perfect position, half way down the lake in the more beautiful southern end. It is less than 10 minutes easy walk to the ferry terminal with hourly ferries in both directions, and the cable car is also nearby. We didn't use our car all week as we used the ferries. There is not much written information in English, so if you don't speak German, do your homework before you go. A must do is the mountain train to Rigi Kulm. You can get the ferry to Vitznau and the train starts from the ferry terminal - cost for 2nd class return for boat + train is about 90 ch ( £69) each. We knew Switzerland was expensive, but ferry trips and all tourist activities are actually VERY expensive, and eating out in tourist areas costs a great deal. As long as you are prepared for that, Lake Lucerne is a stunningly beautiful place to visit. We loved it.

Great hotel at a great price
We are stationed in Germany and are able to do weekend trips to the Alps and other areas. This hotel was a treat for us and cost around 183.00 USD. The food was great. The atmosphere was nice. The garage was perfect and covered. The view was amazing. When the owner found out that our daughter would not need a crib, he upgraded us to an ocean view for free. The room was quiet and nice. The breakfast buffet was elegant and delicious. It is directly on the lake and is a very romantic location. The surrounding area is nice and quaint, yet still retains the scenic Swiss feel.

Wonderful hotel
We stayed 3 nights during the off season. The town is very quiet compared to nearby Lucern. The view of the lake from the hotel is spectacular - especially the lights at night on the opposite shore.

This hotel is the best in this trip. Our family member all agree to give a full point for this hotel. The hotel is beside Lucern lake. It is so beautiful. Our room was upgrade to suites, very clean and comfort. Dinner inside hotel is an enjoy.

Second visit but this time in unusually hot weather, 37deg.and the lack of air conditioning made sleeping impossible. Food and service good as last time. The Underground garage was vital in these temperatures.

We stayed one night on our way back to France. We had two rooms (we are a family of 5). Service and food was excellent. Rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are small but impressively clean, modern, and brand new. We had our breakfast outside in front of the lake. Most of the food is homemade and delicious.This hotel is a GEM! I cannot understand that it has only 3 stars, it should be 4*. Owners are very concerned about their guests and they make everything to please them.

Very Great Hotel , calm, quiet with restaurant.
Not cheap but location and the view is spectacular. We got a balcony with lake view and love it so much. Modern room with wood/pvc flooring and very spacious. What I dislike is not about the hotel, but to got here if you use public transportation, you must pay additional zone which become much more expensive and take longer time too. and transport in Switzerland is not cheap (at least for me) :C .

The suite was fantastic!
I booked a triple so as to have a little more room and was given a fabulous suite on the top floor with great amenities and an unbeatable view. We enjoyed the restaurant and staff as well. Good food and congenial staff.

Great hotel in gorgeous place
The hotel location is the best possible - right in front of the lake, surrounded by beautufil mountains. We were leaving very early next day, so the hotel person (I guess it was the owner) did the checkout the day before and discounted the cost of breakfast - I've never met such thing before. He was extremely nice. When we asked if we could make some tea, he made us delicious tea from the herbs that were collected in the region and refused to take money for it. By the way, the small hotel chocolates are very tasty - so don't miss a chance to grab a few :). The only thing I regret about the stay at the hotel is that we stayed only one night there, don't repeat our mistake :). The town is quite small, however there're a couple decent restaurants and cafes and people are very nice.

One of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in!
Wow! Excellent hotel in a great location. The view of the lake from the restaurant was amazing. The room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in complete with remote control window blinds. The bed was super comfy and the staff was very helpful! Great value for the price.

It was an amazing stay. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony view of the mountains and the water. The breakfast in the morning was very good and included in our stay with a great view there as well. A must stay if you have a way to get around or do not mind being outside of the city center. It's worth the drive in my opinion though because it is also a very reasonable price.
