Will never stay at this owner/management again.
I asked for twin, but was given a king and make shift single bed instead. Room keys were also given only 1 and not more than that. Room door was faulty and requires special skill to remove key once the door is opened. Towels were stained and dirty.

Very Unprofessional
We are in utter shock at the check in process of this place. What more it being under the umbrella of Sunway Resort Hotels and listed on Expedia. We stayed at W Studio Resort Suites at Sunway on Saturday, 24th February 2018 and thank god checked out on Sunday, 25th February 2018. Finding the place was easy as it was smack next to Sunway Pyramid. Everything was exciting until we discovered that there was no real counter to check in. Yes we were told to stand in the middle of someplace, while some staff, spoke to us like as if we were having some illegal dealing. No counter, no proper paperwork or registration, wasn't a need for deposits as stated on Expedia. We were rushed to a room right from the car park. The staff spoke in a very suspicious, unclear manner. I didn't like this entire fishy treatment one bit. Don't think even a budget hotel would have treated us this way. The condition of the room was an entire whole mess altogether. Stains on the sofa and other furniture and fittings, Cupboards that were broken, etc. We hardly wanted to touch anything. The only part of the room that was good was the view from the balcony overlooking Sunway Lagoon. That was it. When others checked in at a counter, and we were merely "dealt" with in the doorway, that says much about the place and management. What the staff told us was that it was various managements running the show at Sunway Pyramid Towers. What?! While exciting, we were told to either leave the keys in the room.

Great Location and spacious room
Great location within the Sunway Pyramid with variety choice of food and shopping outlets with different leisure centre, like ice skating, bowling alleys and Sunway Lagoon theme park. Hotel room big and spacious, acceptable cleanliness but the facilities and conditions of the studio could improve further.

Old rooms by private management.
The rooms were managed by a quasi company, not by sunway. The cleaning is sub contracted to a diff company, they only change towels. The toilet was not usable and was not repaired despite complaining to the staff. We moved out after 2 days. We might not use expedia again.

The only disappointment was that: we were given one big bed instead of 2 single beds per requested. Cos some occupants are just friends and to share a bed may be quite awkward.

Worst Hotel Ever. Not recommended.
This is my worst experience. The Hotel does not have a lobby. Managed by a bunch of foreign workers with poor customer service. The room condition was very bad. Toilets leaking, non-functional lights, only local channels, air-conditioner works only on & off (no variable temp control).....etc. I paid premium charge for a worst than a motel room condition & service......

No reception counter. No lobby AT ALL. 1 non uniform man met me at another hotel's bell hop counter in the basement next to car park where he then brought me up to my room, handed the key over to me. Showed me how I can phone for check out. Upon check out, no one picked up my call so I left the key to a uniformed staff of other hotel. Wooden floor warped. Bedsheet too short to cover mattress surface. Basic 5 pr 6 TV channels. Shower curtain too short. If you are going to serve them I suggest you stay 1 night incognito see for yourself. If the price was lower I will not complain. But I paid RM7XX for 2 nights so I expected better

Unpleasant Stay
The stay was really disappointed. The Toilet was leaking and were being upgraded to an executive suite. The new room was dusty and had dead croachcoaches around. The power were totally cut off at 4am and no one there to handle the matter. We were told that the front desk, customer service were only be around at 9am. we cant get any rest for the night. The staff came to fixed the power supply at around 11am and our programme for the whole morning was disrupted. And the power supply went on & off even after they fixed. It was an unpleasant stay.

worst hotel stay I ever had!
I had a bad holiday experience staying in this hotel. Ive never ever had this kind of bad experience before during my holiday! The room was not clean and towels given were somewhat dirty and old! I asked for an extra towel and was told I had to pay a deposit of RM40! Ridiculous! There was no reception counter to received me and my family! I thought the private check-in was exclusive coz prior of my arrival, they watsapp me of my timing of arrival, but I was wrong! All I can say is.. this hotel sucks and pls do not book this hotel! I could get a better and nicer hotel room wih the rate that I was paying for this hotel. The picture shown on their website was beyond words than the actual things.

Not a good experience!!!
Room condition was not clean, bed sheet got stains, only provide shower towel no bathroom floor towel, have to walk wet throughout the whole room. Wardrobe sliding not working well need to slide hard. No Free parking for guest need to pay RM8 for parking. Resort Hotel management and W Studio management are separate entity so there is no front desk. Resort Hotel management is not responsible for W Studio Guest. Except for good location to Sunway Lagoon. Will not stay again.

Very comfortable stay and the location is very strategically located. Right above the Pyramid Shopping mall and next to sunway lagoon ticket! They sell discounted Sunway Lagoon ticket too! Value for money hotel and very comfortable room! Will definitely be back again!

Horrible stay
During check in, the staff will be polite and will show good hospitality in welcoming you. During the 5 nights stay, they forgot to clean the rubbish in the room. Need to be reminded every single day. Forgot to replenish fresh towel. Need to wait till noon but still didnt deliver. We used our own towel instead. Upon checkout, I request for a tax invoice receipt since this is a business trip. Checkout om Friday and now already Sunday they havent provided it yet. Call them this morning and the India guy is yelling at me saying that they are busy. He told me that I have to email their management to get the invoice when they promise to provide it on Friday evening. I will not recommend anyone to stay here. Since I have pay before staying, I could not change hotel. Worst experience.

The staff gave me a bad impression the first time I whatsapped them. They replied halfway and then disappeared. But when I arrived, the service was quick. Called them and was told to go to the temporary concierge area at B1, directly below the new renovating lobby which is at the carpark lift area. Location was good and easy to find. However, the interior of the rooms were kinda old and worn out. Timber furnitures were chipped off here and there. The sheets were dirty and smelly like they were kept in a stuffy storeroom for a long time. We were even given 2 single bed and 1 double bed when we've paid for a king size bed.

Total abandonment. Hotel check-in is via a call to an agent. God bless you if he doesn't answer the phone. He takes you to the room and that's it. Room is not cleaned every day and bed linen not changed. Linen looks used before check-in. No one to call for any situation with the room. When you need something and you call the agent, he doesn't answer the phone. The day of check-out after informing earlier, he did not come to hand over the key. The airport taxi booked through the agent did not turn up. So total abandonment by the agent. Price is not cheap either. So do not recommend to anyone to depend on an agent in a foreign land. Agent's spoken English is not good either.

Hotel entrance very confusing and inconvenient
Hotel staff mentioned check-in time was 3pm different from Expedia confirmation letter at 2pm. Maybe due to renovation, the entrance to the hotel was very confusing which took us 30mins to find it, and our taxi has to go round and round to find the entrance door. We even have to wait another 3-5mins for the staff to meet us at the lift to bring us up to hotel lobby located at 19th floor. Overall it took us 30mins before we can check into our room. Room facilities are mostly broken especially the front door and the balcony door in which we have to bang hard in order to close the door otherwise the door may look close but someone from outside can still open it. Room cleaniness are not good because I have accidentally spill the coffee on the floor and the floor was not mopped during the room cleaning service. Lots of ants in the room as our food will be filled with ants if we placed some food on the table for 20mins. Hotel staff is very nice when check-in but not very helpful when we check-out of the hotel because instead of helping us to book the taxi or bring us out to grab a taxi, they asked us to go out of the building to grab any taxi ourselves. This suite is confirmed to be an apartment and not of a hotel standard.

Pillow sheet yellowish, toilet flushing system leaking and did not bother to repair instead request guest to on and off when use it. Without signing any form, any lost key, was asked to pay RM150 but when mentioned to write on review, retracted statement and told that can discuss with management to give free of charge

old and seriously need upgraded
very terrible experience in this hotel. Old, not clean for linen, seriously old and need upgraded. Need to call the person before arrival, no proper reception counter. Check in progress very slow and i have request to arrange two rooms same floor level or next to it since i booked it few weeks ago, but they still can't manage to arrange it, and the floor difference are disappointing me, 16th and 27th floor. Not very comfort feeling when sleep in the rooms, we decided to move to another hotel after one night instead of two nights staying there.

Feeling at home with W Studio Resort Suites at Py
I had put up at this hotel again as a happy returned patron. To be honest, the first time I was daunted by the absence of front desk reception, a distinguished feature of this hotel but the enthusiastic, prompt and excellent services by the hotel staffs concerned vie phone connections immediately removed all impending doubts. Rooms are spacious and equipped with kitchen facilities, great outlays for family stays, convenient locations to one of the most bustling shopping mall in KL with ample choices of foods restaurants. Feel safe in its surroundings. Will still choose this hotel as my priority choice if i need to be within the vicinity of this part of KL.

We booked a room for 4 adults and was asked to settle with a double bed and a single mattress as apparently Expedia took our booking and payment without checking on the availability. We were told to take the room for 1 night and they will give us the same room we booked for the next day. We didn't agree and was given a condominium - Palmville nearby. Though, it was comfortable but it was not in an excellent condition, the furniture's were run down and we didn't get a hotel experience and were away from the function we were attending. Truly disappointing and am not sure if I can trust booking through Expedia again.

Our family (2A2C1B) stayed at W Studios at Sunway. An comfy stay for the price over the CNY weekend. The good: Comfy King + Queen beds, nice view overlooking the Sunway Lagoon, reliable aircon, steady WiFi, some (not many) good TV channels, big bathroom w bathtub,ample kitchenette with utensils n cutlery, good sized fridge in gd condition, gd neighbourhood with lotsa food and shopping in the mall below, walking distance to Sunway Lagoon. The not-so-good: No reception counter so have to wait outside the hotel for agent to meet up, no butler service apart from the agent wanting to help carry one luggage, agent not proficient enough in English, no free parking (pay RM6 per exit), room floor dusty/sandy (my family likes to go barefoot in our room), jaded furniture,cupboard and toilet,safe not working, only give 1 card +key, slow response to request for room cleaning on 2nd day (in the end cancelled cleaning just asked for new towels), rough (but clean) towels not suitable for my baby, dining chairs v old and can break any time, induction stove so cooking is slow, toilet not cleaned properly because I removed choke in the bathtub made up of long hair, no telephone - they expect you to use own hp. Overall, comfy stay for the price over the peak period.

The room was very spacious but the cleanliness was suspect. Our apartment was privately owned so it was difficult to receive help from any staff. Making up for both of these flaws is the convenience of the shopping mall. You have everything you would ever need right below you. Overall, I would say for the price, this apartment is a good stay.

Stay was amazing! The staff quick check in is very helpful. Didn't had to queue or wait like the usual. Check out was very fast and convenient Hotel is at a very strategic location where it is connected directly to the shopping mall and is next to Sunway Lagoon. Will definitely come back again to this hotel

It wasn't a pleasant booking experience with this hotel. The direct number to the hotel was a mobile number as this accommodation doesn't have a fixed line of their own. I tried calling the number on numerous occasions but wasn't answer and I had to contact Expedia staff for help. It was eventually put through to a personnel after half an hour trying to explain my dilemma. The personnel was very apologetic after we start talking. Upon checking in, I realized that parking wasn't free as published on website on Expedia. The staff tried to explain and justified their stand but I told them to just honour of what they had published, which on check out date, they gave a complimentary parking ticket to facilitate the check out. There wasn't a bath mat in the toilet and there are leftover of food in the fridge by previous tenant.
