We liked the location of the hotel being on the edge of the city. Transport was easy by taxi to get different areas. Buffet breakfast and evening meals were good with a lovely selection of different foods.

Simply wonderful Hotel in every way. Updated, clean rooms and staff that were always available to serve any need. In terms of dining, do not miss enjoying the fantastic dinner buffet prepared by the extraordinary Chef Hossein. Marvelous regional dishes prepared with perfection. And if that's not enough, the breakfast buffet is unbelievably awesome. A mix of Western and regional SE Asia dishes that are fantastic. Arguably the best hotel and dining we've had in SE Asia.

Great stay, check-in could and should be better. Not the first time staying but as always check in was delayed. Early check in requested but unavailable. At normal check in time, room was still not ready as well. Everything else was good.

All staffs make you feel welcome and the service were more than I expected. The room is big and clean nicely decorated. It does show a little wear and tear but overall the room conditions is still good. I will definitely consider to stay here again on my next trip.

The breakfast buffet was my favourite. The hotel room is big, clean and well decorated. However some parts of the hotel looks abit weathered. Love the colonial vibe. The orchid observatory for high teas is soo pretty.

A very pleasant stay!
Everything was good apart from the breakfast ordered from room service. There are ants crawling around the serving tray. Suggest management to wash the trays more thoroughly before serving the n3Xt customer.

Really enjoyed our stay at this iconic hotel. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Room was really nice and had a large bathroom. Only negatives they had very limited tv channels for a hotel of this nature we couldn’t find anything decent to watch and no way to link your Netflix or other streaming accounts to the tv. Room service menu was very limited. Otherwise great stay.

All the hotel staff I met were very friendly, polite, and helpful. I also like the property -the Drawing Room, the Orchid Conservatory, the Colonial Cafe, the four postal bed and the bathroom (Junior Suite). However, the breakfast can be improved with more variety of food.

Remote location
The location was pretty far from any amenities. No convenience stores, no LRT within reach. I guess it’s apt for those, who go full board with the hotel. Good thing we could use grab anywhere in KL for transport and food. Parking is not free.

The Majestic Hotel is a real Gem. It is a great hotel to stay while visiting Kuala Lumpur. It has elegant ambiance and the Staff who truly go above and beyond to make your stay the most memorable place to be. The restaurant is fabulous. They are in a good location close to Chinatown, Botanic Garden, and handful of Museum near by. They have a shuttle service to and from the main hub, KL Sentral Station a and NU Sentral Mall every half an hour between 8 AM to 5:30 PM. But what makes this hotel very unique and special were the staff that really make it shine. I am thankful and forever grateful to “Win” who worked at the front desk. Not only he was very helpful, he went above and beyond to make my stay very memorable. The room that was assigned to me was a corner room with a great location, very quiet with good view. Everyone treated me like Royalty but most important of all to me was “Win” who treated me like a brother. Thank you I’m forever grateful.

This was a three day stop over in KL on our route home from Langkawi. The Majastic is a truly 5 star hotel. Beautiful building in good condition. Lovely room ( we upgraded to a deluxe ). Staff were very helpful throughout. Breakfast is a must. Most variety I’ve ever had. My only reservation would be location. There is nothing much at all around the hotel but Grab taxi’s are cheap.

Positives- attention to detail and making experience as good as possible, room fixed up twice daily, staff friendly, good base to be able to go to Brick fields/Chinatown/Colonial area Points to consider- older tourist area of KL so difficult accessing things apart from via car, not a lot of local food options nearby, tv channel reception patchy

Used to be my favorite hotel in KL. Stayed there at least a dozen times but this is my first time since covid. Things seem different. No snacks in room, no extra towels, no hot water at night, thermostat not working properly, limited in room dining menu.....things have changed since covid!
