Food heavens surrounding this hotel. The shopping mall also have a huge selection of cuisine. Room is cozy and spacious. Bed is comfortable. It even has a coin operated laundrette. Enjoyed the peaceful swim in their clean, well maintained pool. Staffs are friendly, polite and always a smile on their face, making us feel very welcome. They are very prompt when it comes to actioning our request for clean towels. Will def stay here again. Thank you to all the staffs of Somerset Damansara Uptown. Kind regards, McCann

Nice cozy property. Amenities in the room was good. Layout was nice. Unfortunately the Air Conditioning was totally unacceptable... When set to 20 Deg Celsius and on Hi Setting, All it could achieve was 23.5 Deg Celsius which is nowhere near cold nor cool. When sleeping under the duvet / sheets, it was very uncomfortable.

The breakfast selection was pathetic and the environment was not good. As well on day 2 one of the light bulb in the room was damaged and on day 4 the shampoo and shower gel holder just drop off. Luckily I was not in the shower at the time. Imagine it falling off and if it hit the feet.

Great hotel in Petaling Jaya attached to Starling Mall giving it easy access to lots of food options including a grocery store. Kitchen was well stocked. Rooms were clean. Pool / gym facilities were excellent. Would stay again.

Room facilities good but I cannot understand why your wardrobe clothing rail is so high! Spare pillows are out of reach for an average person let alone a handicapped senior! No choice for pillows. Stiff neck after! Ur security staff are great!

Excellent location. Food in every corner. Clean food court and a shopping mall nearby. Staff are very polite and helpful . Reception staff very pleasant and the security guards couldn’t wait to open the doors and help with luggages. Keep up the good work

My Favorite Stay in Damansara
Have chosen to stay at Somerset Uptown for many years now. Love the locality and spaciousness of the apartments. However time for the management to look into the pillows. They are flattened significantly over the years and lost their cushion comfort. Also to look at the laundry system as the pillows do not feel or smell fresh

Short trip to KL
Location of hotel was good as it has a Shopping Mall below and lots of food outlets & Banks all round the Hotel. Only downside is there is no Train station nearby. But they do have a Shuttle bus that runs to the Kelana Jaya LRT Station every 30 min.

Excellent choice for Staycation
I enjoyed my stay very much. The unit was spotlessly clean & well maintained. Kitchenette was well equipped. The connection of the property to The Starling Mall makes everything so convenient & easily accessible.

The hotel is very well maintained and it’s cleverly designed with ample space and storage. The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is big and the workplace is big enough. It would have been better if there are 2 chairs so that we could work at the same time. Other than that, excellent. It will be my first choice if we go to that area again.
