The hotel was at the tail end of its renovations and its main entrance was still blocked. Taxis had a hard time finding the way to the hotel and friends who came to pick us up were also lost. The room we were assigned was spacious and very comfortable. We had luxurious towels, coffee, tea, slippers and bath robes. They also provided new tooth brush sets every day and there was also Crabtree and Evelyn products in the bathroom. But restaurant choices were limited and the makeshift bar was a let down though the happy hour beer was a steal.

Booked a "Twin Deluxe" room for 3 adults. However the beds cannot accommodate more than 2 adults. Had to take extra bed. Bathroom is very spacious and has good shower and bath. There is construction happening inside the hotel, but the main entrance has been blocked - our driver had to go around the block twice to find the right place to drop-off. There isn't much to do around the property. Also due to the construction, inside the property the options are very limited. The spa was closed, only 1 restaurant option. Staff were excellent - very customer service focussed.

Very nice, great breakfast
The positives: The hotel is very nice, the room was spacious and comfortable, very big bathroom. The buffet breakfast has so much choice! It was really outstanding. And staff are very nice and helpful. The not so good: There is a renovation going on and taxis seems to get quite confused as to where the entrance is. The bed was slightly too much on the form side for my taste. The pool is nice but 1.5m deep with no shallow end, so no great for young kids. All in all a very nice hotel

Renovations happening out the front at the time, the hotel should look at the bathrooms and either deep clean them or remove the silicone throughout as there is so much mould it looks like it doesn’t get cleaned sufficiently- especially for a hotel with the Hilton name attached, The ballroom is awesome and very nice

Great quality hotel in Petaling Jaya Kuala Lumpur
Excellent assistance from the staff - great breakfast - hotel has an excellent executive chef and food is delicious. Due to renovation work it is dry difficult to find the lobby when arriving and departing by taxi.

Overall a very enjoyable trip except for the first time drive into the premise, would not have been able to locate the place if not for navigation apps. The signage for Hilton hotel is so small that you wonder if they are shy about their brand name.

Really disappointed. The the stopper in the bathroom sink was floating in blocked sink, wardrobe light was continually on with door closed,the tap was leakingI informed the front desk but tthe sink was fixed temporarily and not the rest. The mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned for the 10 days.The bathroom floor and wall grouting has mould The bed spread had a big patch of blood stain and on another day it had big black patch on it. The towel had blue patches. My daughter and family had change rooms because my grandson had some kind of bites all over his hands and legs. He was was ok when he changed rooms. In conclusion there is no one supervising house keeping and no follow-up on maintenance issues when reported. I have been using this hotel for the past15 years and sad to see the hotel conditions deteriorating especially when there are stiff competitions from neighbouring hotels.

As expected from a Hilton hotel, the welcome was quick and warm. Everything was done smoothly. Our rooms were upgraded with no cost. It was easy to just add on breakfast options during our check-in. One bad thing was the bathtub. The hot water pipe seems to be rusty, so when you switch on the tap for hot water, the water comes out dirty. It takes too long to clear out the water so it was upsetting not to be able to use the tub on both nights we were there. Breakfast options were nice but could be better. There could be more or different options added in the buffet during weekends so at least there would be a wider variety for guests to choose from. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant. They were friendly as well in making conversations easily. The omelettes were especially appetizing.

I had an enjoyable stay at Hilton Petaling Jaya. From the check-in welcomed by Arvind and the bellhop team. Had a restful sleep then went down to Paya Serai for breakfast, greeted by Shaz very professional. Excellent breakfast from my usual cereal and yoghurt to first-rate eggs. My favourite highlight is Soto Ayam! Ordered a Teh Tarik (kurang manis) served by Irma; she taught me the more intricate techniques in making the perfect Teh Tarik. Not to forget, the housekeeper on the 10th Floor was most attentive to my requests; great job in tidying the room. The Concierge team is the best in Petaling Jaya if not Malaysia! Prem tried his best in arranging transport for my short trip to a local suburb. Saving the best for the last, Ali the Chief Concierge is most helpful in all my requests and laughing at my silly jokes. In the end, sure there are a lot of new hotels in the vicinity of Petaling Jaya. Ultimately, it is the people at Hilton Petaling Jaya that make the hotel an enjoyable and convivial place to stay. Warm attentive service will never go out of style!

Worth it!
Outstanding hotel and the best buffet spread I’ve ever seen! You can choose from Malaysian food or western food or Chinese food. There is freshly squeezed orange juice that was the best I’ve ever had! The best hotel towels ever! The bellboy will carry your bags up to your room and you don’t even have to ask! They take your bags as soon as you get out of the taxi! They also have waffles which were delicious.
