This hotel shows its age, but the surroundings make up for it. The sheets are clean and comfortable, and the rooms are spacious. The hotel is conveniently located next to a mall called LaLaPort and is surrounded by a variety of shops and eateries. One standout feature is the digital service, where you can scan a QR code to order room service or check out directly from your room.

Property is aged and needs a renovation. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are very limited and very busy. Its worth getting the executive rooms so you have the option of a private lounge breakfast and evening drinks/snacks.

The location is good as it is next to BBCC and my preferred LRT station of Hang Tuah. There are reasonably priced hawker food stalls nearby and Time Square and other Bukit Bintang shopping malls within walking distance. Like other places in the city most of the roads do not have proper pedestrian paths. The hotel is getting old and would be good if there is some refurbishment. The rooms are clean and good sized but room amenities seem to be less than in the past. The towels are not fluffy at all. They need to be replaced. I don't like the idea of water dispenser on every floor. I prefer bottled water as well as jugs for boiling water. The food at breakfast is pretty good but after 3 days it gets a bit tiresome. Overall the staffin reception, housekeeping and restaurant are very friendly and helpful.

its a tamil base hotel, This Hotel control by Tamil Bad people, its not for tourist people hotel. please everyone avoid this hotel, security system very bad.

Good location hotel to stay
The room is big, feel relax when stay in. Cleaniless acceptable, the whole building need refurbish 😊 look old. WIFI signal horrible, better use your own Internet

The place itself is still okay just might need more updating. But there aren’t really anything around the hotel. Walking during daytime is fine, when it turns dark it doesn’t feel safe because the street lights are limited & no shops are open nearby. Walking at night really is scary because there’s no proper walkway leading around the hotel.

Had issue to check in, I was even late for check in but had to wait for another half an hour before they find my booking. Then the room door kept locking me out and would work. One time I needed water and there is no water in the room you have to take a jug to a water dispenser in the corridor and went out there but couldn't open my room door. So had to go to reception in a bath rope , so humiliated. 😭

I have stayed at Furama many times over the last 10 years. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The prices are reasonable and I prefer the location because I am very familiar with the area. As an athlete and daily lap swimmer, I suggest the pool cleaning staff have the pool clean and ready at the 7 am opening time. Each morning the staff would begin cleaning the pool at 7 am. With decades of regular lap swimming experience and having stayed at numerous hotels, and lived many years in Asia. I’ve trained in many pools. The Furama pool is not cleaned correctly and there is often debris in the water, and the water is cloudy. During this visit, I stayed for three weeks. The pool was basically in the same unclean condition every day.

Still a great hotel but standards are slipping
This is still a great place to stay but standards are unfortunately dropping. House keeping has been reduced to every 3rd day and several delights that were offered in the Executive Lounge are no longer available, including relaxing there outside breakfast and afternoon tea times, where in the past you could enjoy a free hot drink and some nibbles. I hope these reduced services are reflected in the prices, but all in all this is still a great place to stay.

Extremely old, foul smelling and mould everywhere around the room. Housekeeping never answers the phone and when they finally did no one assisted. There was a power failure as well. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in

This is actually a 3 star hotel according to me.
The hotel was nearby to lalaport mall and Berjaya Times Square. 5mins walking distance. Imbi station is walking distance also. But u got to cut thru some alleys and mud paths to get there. Hotel is very old, you can see wood chipping off in the rooms and the common areas. Toilet is super run down. I couldn’t accept the fact that it’s called 4 star hotel. Maybe 3 star I would agree. Breakfast options were too little and many of them were tasting bad. I had breakfast there for only 1 day and decided to eat out or order via grab for the rest of the days. Terrible breakfast and I would suggest not to take it.

The current policy of the hotel is that for stay of 3 days or less, there is NO housekeeping !! I had to asked many times for fresh towels & toiletries, and it takes like 3 hours to deliver these small items - it's like having to beg for them !! The house cleaning staff are nowhere to be found and seems to be in hiding. Once, I saw one of them and when asked, said he has been instructed to only clean certain specific rooms, and they cannot acceded to guest's requests for cleaning or toiletries - all such request must be approved by their supervisor (whose identity & location he said he cannot disclose!!)

Room was spacious, aircon was strong enough. No daily housekeeping for the first 3 nights, but was able to ask for toiletries when required. However, it took some time for them to be delivered. Location was good and had convenience stores nearby as well.

A good family hotel
This is not a new place but well maintaind and staff is very friendly. The best part was the playground onsite (RN 5 per entry), outdoors swimming pool and a small indoors exercise room. A great place for a family holiday. Also good location close to Berjajaya Time Square is a plus.
