Really nice little boutique hotel, with friendly staff and in a good location for lots of decent local food and shopping. Close to public transport, and walkable to several of the sights, if you can brave the heat.

Good area, accommodation is now tired in need of attention, we were charged 30 Ringgit tourist tax on arrival no explanation and no receipt on request. As a family stayed here several years ago and was exited to return, it did not live upto expectations, if your looking at this hotel it's nice but keep searching - Sorry.

Great access to Bukit Bintang shopping area.
Found Anggun Boutique Hotel on Google and we liked it very much, unique and comfy. Food in the hotel is average, however, you can find a lot of good local foods next street within walking distance. Very convenient to access to Bukit Bintang shopping area.

location of the hotel is splendid
The hotel does not belong in the category "posh". But that was it why i have chosen it. it has its own charm, setup is pleasing, staff very helpful, good choice of food, coffee and pastry. And, as i said location is very supporting to explore the major touristic sites by walking. thumbs up!!

Nice hotel in Bali style.Just walking distance about 5 to 7min,u can see alot shophouses and nearest to all the shopping mall,variety food and cuisines too..Im really happy and enjoyed my trip there..

Reasonable hotel
Room was really nice, small - but it is a 'boutique hotel' so that is to be expected. We had a small problem in our room and the staff didn't hesitate to move us to another room. Breakfast was adequate, a little small on portions. Staff weren't very attentive, and didn't smile much or make an effort to make you feel welcomed, but they were efficient and got the job done. Overall, fairly good value for money

Peace and quiet in a street that rarely sleeps!
The staff were welcoming and incredible helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with great character (loved the bathrooms). The hotel architecture had a traditional feel, which was enhanced by the wooden furnishings. We stayed on the ground floor and had no issues with noise, although rooms on the floors above would most likely have less foot traffic. Despite its amazing location ( 5min to jalan alor, 10min to Pavilion, 25min to KLCC), the hotel is tucked away with a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights and were really happy with our choice.

Disappointing hotel
Room was not clean on arrival, lamps dusty. On the second day, even though we left early it still had not been made up by 3 pm in the afternoon. The wif was very poor and was not working on the second day. We asked to have rooms next to each other and we told that this was not possible as the hotel was full. Clearly untrue as the room next to me was never used.

Lovely character hotel
Why stay in a high rise when you can stay in a small, slush boutique hotel. Suited all our needs and very handy for traveling around and the tourist attractions.

Hotel with character in great location
The perfect place to stay if you prefer something a bit alternative to a regular hotel. It's got a great atmosphere and is within walking distance to many of KL's attractions.

Lack of proper management and maintenance
First day reach hotel couldn't find parking because hotel only has few street parking reserved and hotel staff couldn't advice where else to parking because they are not local. I paid for triple family room but they made a mistake of arranged a double bedroom for me, they offer me an extra bed. My room become small after put in extra bed. Water heater not working, the staff advice go to first floor spa center to take shower because all room fully booked. The staff promised to change room for me on second day. Second day afternoon the staff told me the room no need to change because the water heater is back to normal again according to the room keeper, but in the evening the water heater is not working, the staff advice go to first floor spa center to take shower again. I feel like staying a budget hotel, taking shower need to take lift to first floor for 3 days 2 nights. I didn't get what I have paid for and the hotel didn't even compensate for all the problems. Will never stay again!

Great, helpful staff. Building works going on but didn't affect us. Room was a LOT smaller than the pictures on Hotel.com lead you to believe but it was perfectly formed and a very comfy bed, robes etc.

Nice little boutique hotel, well maintained and super friendly staff. First floor has a SPA with all the massage treats at reasonable prices. A/C in the room is a bit close to the bed, either too weak or blowing too hard for my taste. Breakfast on the roof top is very nice. You are sitting under big trees, feeling like in a garden. Breakfast is a la carte with many choices, quality is good. Can't be compared with a huge buffet breakfast, but still good. Parking only in front of the hotel, limited places. Very close to Chang Kat and Jalan Alor

The hotel is in close proximity to shops and walking distance to Pavillion mall. The room was clean but the room air conditioner was not coping well with the kl weather. We were struggling to keep cool and had to get an extra key to ensure the ac was running when we were away just so that we dont walk in to a sauna. This needs to be looked at as i am not sure this was a comfortable experience when all you want to do after a days shopping is to enjoy a cool room.

Disappointing return
Having stayed there before and having enjoyed our stay we were looking forward to going back. At first sight nothing seemed to have changed. However Wifi hardly worked this time. The next morning we signaled that the sink was blocked and also abt the Wifi. Upon returning later we were told the sink had been dealt with. But much to our surprise not only had nothing been done but the room hadn't been made up. For which we didn't get the least apology. There's also a new spa now, but its best avoided. The staff don't know what they're doing, and there's a lot of noise, like door slamming and also a lot of whispering. Not a relaxing experience in the least. Won't go back there again for sure

This is a lovely hotel near the food street and outdoor dining. We stayed one night on a stop over in KL. A bit of a drive from the airport but great location near interesting sites but on a fairly quiet street. Very nice hotel with excellent breakfast.

Hotel is in a great area for sightseeing. Terrace area for breakfast/sitting/reading was very pleasant. We stayed in a standard room and it was small and very dark. Lobby area is messy and staff fairly unfriendly. Wish we'd paid a bit more and gone elsewhere.

Wonderful stay
The location was very good. It was our first time in the country, and though the area at first was not what I was expecting, it turned out to be very good. We could walk to many places to eat, hop on-hop off bus was across the street and it was close enough for us to walk to a few malls and other sight seeing. The staff was helpful in setting up some outings for us and the pricing was reasonable. We will stay here the next time we come to KL.

We stayed at the Anggun for 4 nights in early September before travelling on to Singapore and Bali. We were so pleased with our experience that we plan to return for 2 more nights before returning to the UK.

Room design and set up was nice but the cleanliness of the room was really bad. We stayed for 3 nights and there were cockroaches everywhere! The bathroom had the small ones while the room had the bigger ones! When we advised the room service about this, all they had to say was that they will "spray". Will not recommend this hotel.

I really would have liked to leave a good review but the customer service was atrocious. The hotel itself is great. We had a long stopover and decided to take a hotel room for a couple of hours sleep and some sight seeing. We had to pay for two nights while we were staying in the room for 8 hours (!). We arranged for pick up from the airport but had to take a taxi because no one was there to pick us up, this way we lost precious time. We had a room including breakfast but did not use this because of the 8 hour stay. We tried to arrange for at least a fruit juice but were met with zero cooperation and even had to pay for some drinks we got in the reception area (we didn't realize that the breakfast buffet was still open due to sleep deprivation from 24 hours travelling without sleep). In the end our 8 hour stay cost us $500. Sooo.... Decide for yourself.

Comfortable hotel in a great location
We stayed 3 nights at the Anggun Hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However we moved from one of the internal facing rooms to a room with a view over the street which was worth the extra cost. The hotel staff were great and the hotel itself is around the corner from one of the best eat streets in KL.

Beautiful hotel and room. Very clean and nice. Staff was very helpful. Noise from hallway can be loud, but I didn't hear anything overnight. Location is excellent-just one block from Jalon Alor. I didn't get the room with breakfast included, but decided T the last minute to eat breakfast there. Paid 29 ringgit and it had to be cash. Food was good, but it was expensive for what I received. Overall, I would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel, helpful and professional staff, perfect location close to KL center, yet away from the busy and noisy streets. The Hop On-Hop Off bus stops right at the hotel door. My wife loved it. No complaints at all.

Location, location...
We almost always stay in this hotel when in KL. Good breakfast on the roof terrace is a nice start for the day. Rooms are cozy, maybe little small. House is beutiful old Malaysian house, and location is excellent if you want to have good food and some drinks out. Close to everything!
