Toilet in our room looks like it never been flushed after use, but actually its being flushed. Yellow water like pee and someone diarrhea left in our toilet bowl. No idea where it come from. Happen a few times during our stay. Hotel management to investigate how this thing happened.

The bed is great med firm and found out brand used is Serta. Given 4 pillows and 1 extra pillow as well. Pillow is of better quality too. it's our first stay and it's relieved and pleasing to be able to stay into a hotel that allows ample rest for us after a week of hectic travel. Short walking distance to Gleneagles & the malls nearby. One to pick on is the sound proofing is bad as we could hear loud and clear walking and stamping sounds across the corridor.

good location in the new business area, next to the Imago big shopping mall, building is super new, but the door is very thin, not good for ppl who wants to sleep in. The front desk lady is kinda patient enough, talking too fast and kinda grumpy looking. Overall it is a good place to stay and clean.

The rooms are on level 3 and near the main road and hospital. Didn't have a good night sleep because of that. The room has bad sound-proofing too. There are people/other residents slamming the door, running and shouting at the hallway in the middle of the night. The staff don't seem to care. Table/cabinets have visible stains. Toilet has visible mold/fungus spots. But the only plus point is that it is near a shopping mall, making it convenient to grab a bite or do some shopping.

Wifi need to improve
Iphone user can’t use the hotel wifi. It will keep showing log in fail. I have try my iPhone and iPad, all are same. My Girlfriend use Samsung, it is no problem. So mean that, Apple user can’t enjoy d wifi.

a lot of items in the room not functioning well eg: bathroom door stuck, cleanliness of bathroom is not up to the standard. Room bath towel & Pool tower size are small.Request to get extra towel was charged eventhough during the booking we already mentioned 4 paxs (2 adults,2 childs) & only 3 towel given.

The hotel is pretty new yet it's not quite well maintained... and the cleanliness could have been done better. My bathroom was kinda dirty with really strong urine smell. The tiles, though new yet full of mould... My pillow smells bad and the i had itchiness all over my body on the first night of my stay. But our kids love the pool... Would love to come back if they make improvement on the above issues...

Overall ok but bad experience during the first day arrival to the hotel as various blockage point was setup by securities to chase away people told to park somewhere else. Really bad experience for me who is not Kota Kinabalu local folks and not familiar around. I had to drive blind round and round riverson area. Recommended for no car guest but not recommended to stay in guest with car.

It looks fine from the outside but doesn't deliver
The hotel is one of those 'we made it look nice but actually nothing is done right on close inspection' places. The sink didn't drain, there was a leak in the bathroom so the floor was wet, there is no sign saying that the hotel is actually on the 3rd floor. When the taxi driver was not there at the specific time I had prebooked for - and paid more money for - I went back upstairs to reception (which had no lights on, the woman was sitting in the dark, kind of weird) and was told 'I called him already' when I asked them to call. She has no response on when he would come but she wouldn't call again. Go to the REAL Klagan - they were helpful and nice. This is using the reputation of the first Klagan to attract people.

Fabulous views, spacious suites
We stayed in the Soho suite and had a lovely view of the ocean and the islands in TAR national park over the Sutera harbour golf course. From our side balcony, we saw beautiful sunrises over Mount Kinabalu. Very spacious and comfortable. There is a large mall close by and uber is readily available to take you into town. The supermarket was mall was great and we bought stuff to make our own breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen. The swimming pool was fab and we loved the gym. Cleaning is a little superficial and there's lots of dust under the bed.

Great location, in a walking distance to Imago Shopping Malls, the only gripe during my stay is the arrangement of the bed, seems & feell awkward to me, since the bed facing the door, I'll give 5 star rating if the bed facing the wall. Thanks.

Hotel is just ok
-Hotel location is aeroplane route. So expect sound of aeroplane passing by every hour. -Hotel looks like its in a rush to open for business. Lift is still not completely ready. Still covered with wood plank. I don't feel comfortable taking my kids in. -Hotel doesn't provide free parking. -Lobby is on the 3rd floor. You will have to ask the security because there's no indication. Security also looks like he doesn't wanna talk. -Booked 2 rooms & 1 of the bathroom is missing the rubber at the edge. So if you need to do "nature's call", expect smells coming out to your room. -No lock for bathroom door. -Dusty floor under the bed. Why do i care? Because my son crawl under the bed. -Extra pillow stinks. I guess its never washed. But the price reflect its hotel. So its okay. There a small swimming pool. Children might like it. Location is nearby imago & spotted several halal nasi kandar restaurants.

Overall this hotel is good to stay. Just one problem which is you need to pay for your parking which is quite expensive if you stay for few days. And the hotel can't waive the parking fee which is cost me a lot of money.
