Great Stay, Great Location

Very Comfortable and Clean Hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay here,the rooms were spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants and shopping around this area, would definitely use the hotel again. use again.

The hotel is very close to the city center (Jetty, waterfront, night market, good restaurants). The staffs were very nice and happy to switch rooms for us upon request. Room view was not very nice, though, but admittedly it is hard to find a good view with how buildings in KK are placed.

Soundproofing between rooms is very poor. Other than that, the room is clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is awesome. The staff are very friendly and attentive.

Perfect KK base!
The Mandarin was the perfect location, the staff were all lovely - so friendly and helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting the manager who gave me some great advice, I booked for 2 nights and stayed for 3! If you need a comfortable base in KK because you’re out exploring then this is perfect. Small, compact but perfect for me a solo traveler wanting to spend my days exploring. My bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely!

The location is good- walking distance to markets, waterfront, ferry etc. Staff is very nice. The rooms are a little small and feels cramped and the window is small, but the bathroom is very modern and excellent.

Great place to stay.
Great place to stay if you're here for Borneo Marathon. Shuttle bus pickup point is a walking distance away. Additional bonus, free transport from Hotel to Airport on checkout day. Lots of activities around the hotel area, walking distance to Gaya Street.

Easter 2019 stay
It was good. Location next to alot of great food and mall. Except late night karaoke and friday pasa malam and Sunday mkts either keeps us awake or wakes us too early.

Centrally located, walking distance to Suria sabah, jetty for island hopping, gaya Street market is right in front. The staff are proud of keeping the hotel rooms clean and I really appreciated that. Wonderful house keeping. The only things that will make this stay better is to have a more efficient hot water shower system. Water needs to run for a while to get heated. Also, rooms can get noisy due to neighbours slamming the doors or talking along corridors.

Suited our needs perfectly.
From moment of arrival, all staff were extremely accomodating and friendly. They all spoke good English and went out of their way to help. Located in a central downtown area, so a quick walk to any number/choice of breakfast and dinner eateries. It's a small budget priced hotel, so amenities are accordingly, such as no breakfast room, but everything needed is there, and in excellent condition and cleanliness. Very comfortable and spacious room with fridge and safe, and comfortable bed. If in Kota Kinabalu, we would most definately stay again, as Mandarin suited our needs perfectly.

Good value, good location.
The king bed was comfy. AC worked great. The markings for the shower water temp. were incorrect. Staff was friendly and helpful. The common areas could use some refurbishing. Close to Jesselton Point and is in the Chinatown area. Chinese and Malaysian restaurants around the corner. Coin operated laundry a ten minute walk and is close to night market stalls.

pleasant hotel
had booking for windowless room so decided to pay a small price to upgrade to a better room which im glad i did. pleasant hotel ,comfortable bed and good shower pressure. wifi worked well. walking distance to waterfront and shopping with so many eateries to choose from. Staff very friendly and obliging.

Brilliant hotel - great value
Location - About 10 mins walk from jesselton point and right next to the night markets. The Sunday market is also right on the door step and well worth going to. Room was very clean and cleaned every day. Air con was a little loud but did its job well. Good bathroom with rain shower. Very clean and towels and toiletries replaced daily with the cleaning. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Willing to offer advice. Free airport shuttle is a nice bonus. Its not 5 star and no frills and there is no breakfast but would definitely stay at this hotel again. Excellent value for money.

easy to go every where 교통괜찮고 워터 프론트나 시장까지 걸어서 갈수 있어요. 저녁에도 나갈수 있는 바도 많구요.
