It served our purpose of being close to the airport for a early flight as traffic in Penang can be quite busy and front desk staff were friendly and helpful

Raia Hotel is perfect for anyone visiting Penang Island on business. It is situated within 20 minutes walking distance from the Airport (Penang International) and is safe, secure and well looked after. It has great WIFI, Huge smart TV in the rooms, desk for working and all the amenities you might expect. Additionally they have a buffet style restaurant.

No Hot Water
Hotel had no hot water. Not "barely any hot water" but no hot water at all. Nothing even comes out of the hot water tap. There was no advanced notice of this.. only warning was a poster in the room once checked in and paid for. I wanted to stay here due to the proximity to the airport, but in hindsight should have stayed in George Town area

Good Hotel especially for business travel..
Comfortable and big room, reasonable price, but need to book with hotel.com :) Walk in price will be double price.. For businees trip...absolutely this hotel will be the best to stay.. Plus near airport and also walking distance to night market if u stay on Saturday night. Craving for nasi beriani kapitan which is among famous food in penang...? definately stay here lah lol.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Evening meal in onsite cafe was very reasonably priced and good quality The room we had was very dated and in need of some remedial works. Air con very basic and not very effective

atleast close the booking for outsiders if its in the hajj season, then people who stays in the hotel will not have to deal with the hard parking, late night announcements, and have to walk further just to not enter from the main entrance

TH is a family orientated hotel. All staffs whom I have met or served me are well mannered with exception of a Supervisor or Manager at the food restaurant during breakfast. Very rude with no reason. I have asked other staffs for his name, no one would provide me. He should not be working with the hospitality sector if he does not know how to behave or have good manners, never-mind serve.

Did not know that this hotel is a Islamic hotel . And many restriction , cannot drink beer in the room etc . Asking for a hair dryer , they want to charge rm 15 , that is terrible . i would put a cross to this hotel

It is spacious. However, my room was linked to another room, although the link connecting door was closed I could smell the cigarette fume from the other room which was suppose to be non smoking. It was not the hotel's fault but it was very inconsiderate of the guest.
