Overall we enjoyed our stay & will stay here again in the future. However, it wasn’t without negatives.
Positives:
Evening seafood buffet was outstanding.
Breakfast buffet was plentiful even at busiest times.
Beds very comfortable.
Extra children’s bed was excellent & comfortable.
Room was large.
Lobby scenic.
Rooms cleaned quickly.
Activities were numerous.
Great NYE party.
Little extras such as welcome fruit & chocolates, NYE party bags.
Spring rolls best ever.
Negatives:
Arrived at 3pm after flying through night with our child. Room not ready. We had to wait for 55mins for our room. Front desk staff not welcoming & no apology.
When we got to our room housekeeping were still there setting up our extra bed. Had to stand aside waiting for another 10 mins. Then forgot to leave a 3rd towel.
One evening we ordered room service from the ITALIAN restaurant. We ordered Spring Rolls, lasagne, gnocchi, margarita pizza, 2 ginger ales, 1 juice.
We were told no lasagne so changed to Portabello Pizza.
They called 15mins later. No gnocchi, so changed this to ravioli.
They called 20mins later. No ginger ale, so changed this to juice.
Arrived 15mins later. Missing both pizzas and had a meat pizza instead.
Called restaurant and they sent the correct 2 pizzas approx 20min later.
Although we had these problems we still very much enjoyed our stay and hope that we can return and the staff will be friendlier. We hope that it was only because it was busy.
