Great location, easy access to all the sights. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Needed just sheets for the bed, dooner was too hot. There was an unpleasent smell as we entered the room but it went away after a few moments.

Walking distance to all street food. The hotel is a little run down and needed some reno. The bed is too hard and cause backaches.

I’m conflicted about this hotel. It has some great points and some poor ones. The staff are great and so is the location, they also have an excellent restaurant but just for evening meals. The rooms are also of good quality especially the bathroom which appears brand new and very modern. Now for the bad points, they don’t offer breakfast, not even a croissant and a flask of coffee, nothing! They seem to be obsessed with the equipment in the rooms so much so that they have an introductory book in the rooms welcoming you to the hotel but it doesn’t tell you anything about the hotel and what it offers or, indeed, the local area. There’s a welcome letter from the “Le Dream team” followed by a list on the 2nd page detailing all the items in the room and their replacement cost ie hairdryer, ironing board, towels etc.. When you leave they check the room to make sure you haven’t accidentally packed the tv, makes you feel like a thief.

Le Dream Boutique Review
The front desk has been really helpful and friendly. The hotel location is also very convenient. I enjoyed my stay there. I especially appreciate one of the staff whom I forgot to ask for his name. He was on shift at the hotel front desk on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 who went above and beyond to help me solved my lock issue. His help is greatly appreciated.

Convenient place to explore the city. Many good food places within walking distance. Good restaurant in hotel. Clean and well-kept. cleaning staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately no gym or sky bar when I was there.

Hotel is strategically locate near to bus terminal and shopping center. Walking distance to surrounding eateries stalls and wall painting attractions. It is little disappointed that the rooftop is closed temporary for renovation. Hope it is open on my next stay. And the water from heater is not yet warm enough for a hot shower.

Many unexpected "surprise"
Excellent! Good staffing, friendly and helpful, clean, comfortable, they gave me a lot of unexpected "surprise" like 4 welcome drinks for 2 of us, we can choose wine or soft drink, free ice creams, free tea, free cookies, free movie, free pop corn! Good location, shopping malls, restaurants just around the.corner. I like their Roof Top Bar, nice view and feel at home.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in, ever. Lovely quiet room located metres away from Lebuh Kimberley with ALL the food. Free wine at the rooftop bar was absolutely magic. We were so well looked after by Uncle Azwan, always feeding us free popcorn and icecream. Breakfast was small but decent buffet. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

Great hotel for a great price. Nice location in easy walking distance to Komtar bus station. Good breakfast buffet and nice touch with free afternoon ice cream and evening wine. Would definitely stay here again if I come to Penang again.

Room is clean and nice. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar is nice with welcome drinks. They also provide free high tea and movie everyday but believe should be good. Breakfast are is nice and foods are great. Only issue is parking lot is very limited.

A dream!
Le Dream is in a great location in George Town. I was traveling solo and I never felt unsafe at the hotel or in the neighborhood. There are also many great food options nearby (esp char kuey teow!). There is a mall down the road with a Watson’s and places to buy SIM cards if needed. The room was always clean and the bed is so comfortable! The staff is also incredibly warm and kind. I will definitely stay here again when I visit George Town.

Very conveniently located at the heart of Georgetown. Easy to get around with Grab. All is good except that the bed is a little hard, and the shower pressure can improve. Breakfast not much variety taste ok. Overall cheap and value for money.

Love this hotel!
We love this hotel. The staff at this hotel made our trip very enjoyable and always greeted You with a smile from all the front line reception staff to Rita the manager and Asman who works on the rooftop. The hotel is also in a very convenient location and is modern, artsy and very clean. I would suggest paying extra for the breakfast as the food is very good from eggs, Chinese dim sum, pancakes to roti. You also get free pop in your fridge and two free drinks (wine or juice) as well as ice cream at the rooftop area. It’s a nice relaxing spot after a long day. They also offer daily movies as well with free popcorn. If you plan to go to Penang definitely book this hotel you will not regret it.

Front desk staffs are very friendly and speedy check in, room are very small, the aircon at night are very noise, location are very convenient, surrounding with lots of foods stall and restaurants. We stayed 2 nights here and the experience was awesome. The room was very clean. Clean bed sheet, clean floor, clean towels, clean bathroom.. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is so good, almost everywhere we go is within 10-15min drive. Also free ice-cream and cookies every evening and night at rooftop was a big bonus. They also have two free movie sessions everyday with free popcorns but we didnt manage to watch any. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling George Town.

All staff were excellent. Breakfasts very good. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, very relaxing. The barmen Amzan and his son Adam were engaging and good fun. You also get free soft drinks and 2 glasses of free wine!😋. I would suggest that they add a little more ambient lighting. Great place to watch chinese new year fireworks.

Excellent stay. Nice room, great breakfast with freshly made Malaysian dishes as well as the regular buffet. Staff super helpful and nice. Not a bad word to say about the hotel. Location also very good, about a 10 minute walk to Chulia and other main streets.

A hidden gem in George Town Penang
Hotel Le Dream is a well facilitated hotel. The location is great in George town with Armenian Street around the corner. The we stayed in a Superior King room which was spacious with a modern and well-equipped facilities. All beautifully designed and extremely comfortable for our stay. From the moment we arrived the staff were extremely helpful. Rita Lee helped us to find very special vegetarian restaurants nearby. Jovin went out of her way to post us an item we left at the hotel. We would have no hesitation staying in this hotel in the future. Highly recommended.

What I like most is the location and services of the hotel. They gave me the over expectation such as tea time, free popcorn when you see the movie, free drink at the roof top! But I didn't expect to stay in the no window room! Because the regulation in my country, you have to provide at least 10% of room area.
