Booked online, opted for pay at property. Someone phoned me from the location to take payment for the booking. Provided the card number no problem. Arrived at the location, office was closed, restaurant was closed, our entire stay. Was advertised as soundproofed cottages, but it’s just a whole cabin turned into a duplex type, normally it wouldn’t be an issue but you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbour. We went out sightseeing and came back to the towel we used to get out of the shower, folded(still wet) back on the side of the tub and the bed made but no garbage emptied (not a huge issue, we are clean people and will gladly remove our own garbage). The toilet ran constantly, towels around the toilet on the floor. We were sitting on the old worn futon and could hear some sort of rodent type animal chewing inside the wall. We had a cockroach on the ceiling. Since there was no one in the office there was no one to call to advise or request to move cabins. The cabin on the other side had a storm door laying on the porch broken and with the winds, was afraid it would blow into our vehicle.
The only positive thing about this place is the view from the cabin porch overlooking the bay and watching the tide come and go.
