We upgraded to a Tower room and took the optional free breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes & drinks. Well worth it versus buying as you go.
The outside space is excellent. There is so much space and sun beds.
The room was very nice, although this is the minimum I'd expect from a 5 star hotel. I would have been disappointed with anything less, so glad we took the upgrade.
Only one complaint. The building material reclamation / scrap yard which runs right alongside the west side of the hotel. This is right below the balcony of the tower suite rooms on the west side. This and all the construction work certainly did take the shine off our morning sit on the balcony.
We asked to move but it was 3 days until another room was available, and we were only there for 7 days, so just stayed where we were.
Overall a fantastic stay, with just the one negative.
always terrific personal service - great apartments while using all normal hotel facilities and Beach/pool across the road at The Royal Meridian. Gary Rhodes W1 restaurant - perfect for smart casual without too much fuss.
Every one of the team at Grosvenor House is a credit to the management - thats' why we've re-visited 20 or more times.
"Bad first impression, but actions of the hotel was"
Bad first impression, but actions of the hotel was Great. They changed my impression.
Receptionist was very rude, I asked for late check-out if available. And he replied immediately with we can not. Usually even if its not available he will tell you I will note it down and inform you later. And he should be nicer. Courtesy costs nothing but buys everything!. A smile would change the impression!. After that he gave me an horrible room (not clean and bed was messy, not what you usually find)
But that was an act of one person. I informed the hotel immediately and their response was amazing. Gave me a new clean room, invited me & my friend for free breakfast and also provided the late check-out.
Thank you for making my weekend worth it.
Will definitely join again.

Great location close to the marina and a superb beach facility. Staff overall very helpful apart one occasion. Room, once we got the right one, large with good amenities but for a 5 star hotel needed a bit of TLC in places.
Stretching 2 miles along the shore of the Persian Gulf, Dubai Marina--a canal city, is situated in the so-called New Dubai. Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University are nearby. A number of pathways offer visitors direct access to the shoreline and beaches.
