Amazing experience.. Hence the view from my room was tad little down, because of the construction work on the new project on the island the red eye (london eye big version) .. If only it remained the beach.. Otherwise excellent lovely place, staff and service was great! better views from the classic rooms only suggestions would be take the top floors.. Overall great! from swimming pool to the beach and food area.. Everything very well located! Tram metro.. Shopping, supermarket!
Perhaps I'm biased : we arrived near midnight after a long flight having booked a 2 night stay in a Royal Club Room, to be welcomed warmly and given an upgrade to a suite with sea views - thought we'd died and gone to heaven, after a month away in small European hotel rooms. This is a great beachfront hotel in the heart of Dubai's Jumeirah Beach high-rise , about a half hour's drive from the airport, to which the hotel orders free transport and collection. The accommodation was superb, staff were great, and there seemed to be a lot of satisfied guests. Once installed, there seemed little need to go out into the oppressive heat of Dubai at all. Thoroughly recommended.
"Great hotel, staffs are very friendly and helpful "
The staffs in the hotel make the stay at Movenpick hotel. They are very helpful and very friendly and clean your room to high standard. I have been very pleased with my stay and the beach is literally 30 secs away from the beach.
Check in was speedy but it took an age for our luggage to reach the room. After 45 minutes we rang reception to find out where it was (we were quite happy to have taken it ourselves to the room in the first place) and the reaction of the receptionist was very rude, dismissive and she even put the phone down on us.
When we complained the next morning the Manager couldn't have been more apologetic - he transferred us to an even bigger room and kept checking on our experience, which meant we left feeling very pleased with our stay! Exceptionally receptive manager!
Stretching 2 miles along the shore of the Persian Gulf, Dubai Marina--a canal city, is situated in the so-called New Dubai. Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, and the American University are nearby. A number of pathways offer visitors direct access to the shoreline and beaches.
