Very good hotel with very helpful staff. Good breakfast selection. Good location - has its own beach and pool which was in a nice garden. A 10-15 minute walk to the marina.

Lovely hotel and location. On the beach and close to restaurants. The traffic can be heavy in the area, so allow plenty of time when booking taxis.

Rooms were bad and smelt. Staff were not helpful. No refund was given for 2 whole days of a very bad room. Hotel is tied and old and food was not good. Don’t go there, much better hotels in dubai

The hotel is spacious and full of good facilities. The buffet for breakfast and dinner were excellent. The location next to beach and sea side entertainment was fantastic. Downside is the small details. We asked for crib ahead of trip and it wasn't provided until we asked for it again. Once arrived it was broken. Some of the lights in the room didn't work, making it especially dark. The staff got my bill wrong and insisted it was right until they realized their mistake. Good hotel overall but expected much better for the price tag.

I booked a sea view property. When I arrived, they gave me another room. When I questioned the staff member a few times, the person started to cry and called the manager, who was very rude and told me I could go to another hotel. However, the rest of the staff was amazing, starting with the concierge to the rest of the front desk. On my last day, they offered me a corner room. The online booking was misleading.

Good Location for JBR - BUT it's a Tired Hotel...
It was a budget trip. Bed & breakfast only at the Hilton JBR as we wanted to go out in the evenings. Closest to the Walk & Marina. The hotel is tired. It’s one of the originals and the beachside part of the hotel looks like it was built in the 70s. Check-in was odd. The receptionist was quite abrupt. Like she’d been there for eons and was a tad fed up. She insisted we had booked an ‘accessible room’ for wheelchair access. We hadn’t. She then asked to see our booking. Sure enough - a deluxe double. The room was basic. The shower was one of those mixer taps in the bath. There was no hand-held shower, never mind a separate shower to the bath. The bed was comfy, but side of bed support was badly stained. The pool isn’t up to usual standards & the toilets next to the pool were being refurbished. We chose the beach. Service at the beach is non-existent - use the QR code on the table. The problem being all the table nbrs aren’t in order, so the guys walk up and down holding the tray above their shoulder looking for the correct table number. Breakfast on the first day- in the side room conservatory - it stank of frying oil. The guy was there making crepes. We were sat on the benches that pubs have outside. The fried oil smell and ambience was unbearable. Breakfast spread is adequate but a 5/10 by Dubai standards. That was ok, but the whole hotel experience wasn’t anywhere near usual Dubai. Sorry I can’t be positive. Last & usual question - would we stay there again? It’s a NO.

Overall the stay was great. Only complaint I have is the hotel put us in the 3rd floor and failed to let us know the 3rd floor had a kids play area. Every morning we were woken up by kids screams and running down the hall way to the play area.

Had an amazing time at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah. Everything was pretty much on your doorstep - beach, restaurants, clubs, shops, mall, grocery store. The staff were accommodating and hospitable. A huge thank you to Tracy the hotel receptionist who upgraded me and my brother to a beach room and Satyendra the housekeeper who kept our room clean.

The Hilton Dubai Jumeirah exceeded my expectations. Convenient location to the beach, restaurants, attractions, shopping, the metro (train) and money exchanges. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and provided a wide variety of international cuisine. The room has all the comforts of home (comfy beds, soft linens, slippers and robes). All the staff are friendly and helpful. Cherelyn (assistant front office manager) was super flexible and accommodating with our checkout time. It was great to connect with staff from diverse cultural backgrounds such as Kenya, Uganda, Philippines, Pakistan, and India. We will definitely visit again. Special thanks to all the staff, with much appreciation.

Dated hotel; bad service; good location.
Great location but hotel is dated and old. We were on a recently renovated floor but the ac didn't work (even after frequent trips by the building engineers) and the manager pretended to care. The water in the shower was either scalding or freezing, typical of old plumbing. I hated the buffet breakfast (things looked good but tasted bad) but my wife thought it was ok. Put on your sneakers and run to the many other hotels in the area.
