Really good option, reasonably priced, clean, parking and great breakfast. The hotel is also about a 15 minute walk into the city which was perfect for our 2 night stay.
Property was nice, but did not provide the room booked

A good welcome and quick check-in.
Breakfast was very good and lovely staff.
The hotel as a whole is well decorated and “a nice place to be”.
But my biggest compliment must be for the bed…I have travelled pretty widely, globally and in Europe and I can honestly say that I had the best night’s rest ever - not for any other reason than a fantastic mattress, lovely linen and very fluffy pillows. I awoke several times as is common place and every time I enjoyed snuggling back down in a fantastically comfortable bed. Thank you.
The hotel is well situated for the city. Check in was easy, room was really nice and well equipped. However was unable to shower in the morning due to lack of hot water with nobody at reception at checkout to pass on my concern. Wifi info not available in room.
Really pleasant stay, very clean, good choice of breakfast, lovely staff. Hotel in good position for city center and all amenities and private parking is a bonus. would recommend however, if you don't like road noise ask for a room at the back of the hotel. It didn't spoil our stay will definitely return.
The hotel was clean , warm and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble . I will definitely visit again.
I stayed at St Andrews hotel for a quick overnight visit to see friends. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was spotless. The only negative is that I was in a room which was at the front of the hotel, so there was quite a lot of traffic noise. I would definitely stay there again and also recommend to friends.
Hotel located close to Exeter City Centre, a medium sized walk or £6 in a taxi to the City Centre. Lots of parking on site, comfortable rooms and very good breakfast. Staff and check-in and breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.
Hotel was in a great lication and had limited free

Okay for the price
Location was good and having free parking was great. I walk to the University from here which was a beautiful 50 minutes walk. Breakfast was great. The room could have done with a bit TLC. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear the TV or alarm clock from the room next door. The street is quite noisy.
On the whole a good stay with great service and a good selection of food choices for breakfast.
The property features good security and is well sound proofed for it's location on a reasonably busy main road.
The following two points are minor comments about my stay and may not be considerations for some guests:
The room I stayed in was on the second floor (directly under the roof). On this floor the windows are smaller and there is less natural light in the room compared to the rooms on the first floor.
The ensuite bathroom's shower had inconsistent water temperature.
Clean , friendly hotel, on-site parking and lovely restaurant with a tasty breakfast . Would stay again

Room 3 was tidy however in my opinion there should be doors on the wardrobe, would be nice to have half way down nets on the windows, as looks straight onto the main road and other houses, also to stop dust ect from coming into the room.
The bathroom I believe should have a blind, as showering at night you can see silhouettes with the light on.
Also the shower kept going hot and then cold.
When I striped the bed after being there 3 nights the pillow protector's were off colour and yellowy and the
Mattress had a blood stain on the top right hand side going which could have been cleaned up.
The breakfast was lovely. The young lady's who served us were lovely too. Didn't see any one linked to the property except behind in a room in the resection area. No one asked it every thing was ok ect.
Had a front room facing onto a busy road so a bit noisy. Was told on check in breakfast finished at 9.30 but when we came down at 9.10 was told the kitchen closed st 9 so had to have a continental. Not the place to stay if you want a lie in. Never known a hotel kitchen to close at 9!
Very good stay for the price. Was here for business and the hotel was close to the city centre and on-site parking was a plus. Breakfast was included and really lovely. Room was small BUT included private bathroom which was great. I don’t think I would have used this hotel/room for an extended stay, as a little cramped for that - but suited my needs on this occasion. It was also VERY affordable considering every other place in the area was so expensive!
