"the name is not actually Pensao. It took us 15 minutes before we finally decide to check out the place google map keeps taking us. The name of this place is Praca de figuierra local stay. Hotel doesn't have elevator and it's on the third floor. The front of this hotel is a bit sketchy as there were people doing drugs on the alley. Our room is big enough for 4 people. Washroom is big. The area also close to tourist area."

"We were well received with staff helping with our bags immediately. Note, if you do want your luggage right away, don't use their luggage service as it is not immediate. Room was large and comfortable. We had an oceanview room with balcony. For the smokers, balcony has ashtrays! Bathroom was large with separate toilet door. "Advertised as having a private beach but there is no access to the beach. I thought it was storm damage but I was told there was never a private beach with assess. Otherwise beautiful hotel. And the pool was delightful but no useable beach,"

"Staff for very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast has a lot of options but their warm food were often a bit cold. Outdoor pool were very nice. I like that there is an adult pool and kids pool the restaurants inside the hotel where a bit too expensive but the buffet dinner was also good with good value of money. The beach was very nice but mind you the sunbeds were very expensive."

"It’s the little things that matter sometimes. The concierge was so nice to help get a wheelchair for my mother to help get her around. The bartenders always greeted us with a smile and little snacks to enjoy while having a drink. One server my mom thought was so great she offered if he ever came to the states to come visit and stay in her guest room whenever he wanted lol. "Good location near the beach. Clean and quiet.. Property managers were helpful and knowledgeable. Wonderful breakfast at the sister hotel with a large variety of items.. 10 minute walk to get there. To note: there is a tear down building attached to the property. If you do not want to see this building, make sure you are clear where your room faces."
