"Great Hotel to stay. Staff was very helpful, cordial and they all spoke English which helped us a lot. During our stay we had planned a tour of Rio and it turned out to be a rainny day. The staff offered us a couple of ponchos for our tour. Excellente place to stay. Breakfast was excellent also."

"Power kept going out in late afternoon and during the night. I have sleep apnea and to be honest , didn’t sleep last 2 nights because of power issues. I guess they had no backup generators. Our bathroom sink also backed up and wouldn’t drain. I called them 2 times to fix it but they never resolved the problem. To be honest, I wouldn’t stay there again"

"Excepcional location on the best side of Copacabana beach, where you can enjoy a beautiful beach full of services (there is no beach service but plenty of vendors). Service is attentive and rooms are clean and cozy. Small pool with a sun deck and gym on the roof top with great views. Close to Ipanema beach, Arpoador and variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops. I highly recommend and will consider to be back in my next get way in rio"

"I will start by saying the hotel was in a great location. Being right there on Ipanema beach and just steps away from the beach. It was located near many restaurants and local stores. The staff were welcoming and all were very helpful throughout my stay, making me feel like I was on vacation. However, I have stayed at many hotels and the amount of money I spent on the Lux Vista Mar Panoramico was not worth it. The room had this weird smell. It smelled like urine.
