Views from the base of the tower are obstructed by trees. Didn't go in the tower. Maybe better views if you pay to go to the top of the tower

Be warned of the steps to telegraph hill/coit tower from street level. Quite a challenge! The tower is accessible by road and there is some limited parking at the top
