Great breakfast! Fresh made belgian waffes were amazing! We stayed in 2 Hyatt Place in this trip and this one was the best breakfast! Free parking is also something that made us choose this one. We had a great stay!

We were a family of four with two teens. My son was flying out of Chicago Midway to visit a cousin. As someone who travels with kids this is what I would want to know: 1. The breakfast is EXCELLENT - probably the best hotel breakfast in a hotel of this kind that I’ve ever had. There were lots of options for vegetarian and even some GF options. They put food on burners and it is very fresh and presented well. Honestly I’d stay here again in Chicago just for the breakfast. You don’t see hotel breakfasts like this anymore. 2. The pool is a little on the small side and there is no hot tub. 3. The bar and restaurant are nice and they also sell small goodies in a bakery style display kind of like a mini Starbucks. They also have various Starbucks coffees. The people in the bar and restaurant were a little short staffed but super nice. 4. The 24 hour shuttle hits all the hotels in the loop, then goes to the airport. But you can also take the shuttle to the airport and pick up the L from there. So use the shuttle to the L rather than driving into the city. Fare was $2.50 a way which is way cheaper than parking at the Field Museum (which is where we went for the day). I got the Venta app on my phone which connected to my Apple Wallet so all I had to do is tap my phone for everyone - no machines necessary. If you take the L from Midway it is a little hard to find from where the shuttle drops off, so pay attention to signage and ask people in the airport. They were very nice.

We made a reservation because of the ADVERTISED free parking and expected to not have trouble parking the car, but the parking lot of not only our hotel but the hotels affiliated and close by were all filled to the brim and we spent nearly an hour trying to find parking. After we finally gave up and parked by the curb behind a whole different hotel, we expressed our concern and troubles to the staff at the front desk expecting absolutely nothing but plain human empathy and they could not even spare a simple apology. Instead, the three ladies in the front stared at us with a blank look and one even rolled her eyes at us expressing our troubles to them. I expected no compensation of any sort, just human sympathy, but lord forbid they care about their paying customers. Everything else in the hotel was fine, just the service and parking situation is absolutely wretched.

Everything was great, however I would've liked a microwave to be in the room as opposed to 1 community microwave in lobby, not a deal breaker though....other than that my stay was fantastic and will be back

Perfect for Early Morning flight
Used this property to catch a very early flight out of Midway. It worked perfectly. The property has a 24 hour shuttle service and the terminal is about 15 minutes away. The room was clean and spacious. We did not use anything else. Staff was gracious.
