I would recommend this but the next time someone says and ask is their free water and they say yes the whole day they give you two waters mostly for free and that's it and i asked the guy do you get free water all day he's like yes so be careful what you say to something that's paying for a hotel

Nice hotel, very close to nice restaurants and bars. We felt very safe there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a bathtub and separate shower and was also very clean. Quiet place as well which was nice for me as I am a light sleeper.

Nice place. Hot water was unreliable. And there was ants. If I had hot water when I wanted and if there was no ants I would give 4 stars The staff was great and the room was clean. Maybe a little more Maintainence. Because of the hot water issue and the ants I would give an over all 2 1/2 stars.

Pros and cons
Pros rooms are comfortable, spacious and cleaned, sushi restaurant just next door (good quality/price), spa and massage just on other side of the road with massage service available in the room ( had a mix stretching-Swedish-shiatsu massage + foot massage, 1 and half hour, absolutely recommend) , smoking area with comfort seats just outside the building. Cons swimming pool very small at 5th floor, rooms look a bit too old fashion..

The stay was pleasant. The staff is very professional and always greet you and smile. The only complaint is the bath faucet was not installed correctly. The staff is wondeful.

Do better with insects during breakfast!
The most annoying thing is that there were FLYS EVERYWHERE during breakfast. I take bugs serious as it is a form of cleanliness to me. Staff was good and attentive, it did bother me that they questioned my guest. I always talk about wifi, and wifi was adequate this is important for other business people to know what it's like.

Sarrosa is a great place with affordable price accomodating to a group size, I have stayed there for 2 days and overall it I feel that their customer service is top notch and I wouldn't mind coming back here to stay again.

This room 322, had the hottest water i have ever experienced in 10 years of hotel stays all around Philippines. And lots of pressure. Good wifi connection to internet. Also, try Cacao drink at breakfast, unusual tasty chocolate. Good security. I like the architecture of the room (old European style). Minor problems: hot water pot had wrong adapter, some towels missing after housekeeping: but all resolved quickly with call! Great staff! Reminder about all hotels, check aircon filter as 80% are clogged with dust. You get better air and less compressor noise when cleaned. Also, use ur finger to open up shower spray by rubbing the holes, minerals clog many of the jets. After a minute of doing this, rewarded with true wonderful rain shower.

I mistakenly, booked a longer stay online and when I asked for a refund of the time I would not be there, the front desk staff said Expedia had a nonrefundable policy and I had to call Expedia for any refund. When I called Expedia, they put me on hold while they called the hotel. Expedia told me that the Hotel Sarrosa in fact had refused to refund my money and that I had to work this out with the hotel. I went back to the front desk and was told, the person who handles that was not there. When I finally reached them, my refund was refused because of the HOTEL'S nonrefundable policy. I was lied to and felt it could have been resolved by just refunding my money for the unused days. I am used to hotel's making the customer feel welcomed. I did not feel welcomed at the Hotel Sarrosa. I am just now, Dec. 8, 2017 trying to resolve this issue through my bank. I would never stay at the Sarrosa Hotel. Also, the food was sub par, the hot food was cold in the cafeteria and it was overpriced. I had a really bad and stressful experience there.

Nice stay
Very nice affordable hotel. Location was a quick taxi ride to most major Cebu attractions. Room was average size, bathroom large. All was nice and clean. Water pressure and hot water were not always adequate. Hotel itself is a bit dates, but kept well. Pool and gym are small. Overall, I would stay here again.
