A very old, poorly maintained hotel, with the smell of mold in some rooms, not very clean, etc. The first impression, upon arrival, is bad: an arrogant unfriendly person at the reception desk will not greet you but just demand your id. The administration is obsessed with security (possibly, for a good reason), but having to wear a bracelet at all times and show it in multiple locations is not for everybody.
The hotel is full of rowdy spring break youngsters, this is why all restaurants and the bar are closed after 10.45 p.m. Still, this doesn't mean somebody next door won't wake you up at 2 a.m. by having a fight or some drunken shout-out.
Essentially, you are paying to stay somewhere right at the beach, and the beach is indeed very good! The rest is mediocre at best. Personally, I have no desire to ever go back, it is not worth the price nor the inconvenience.
