This is a cute property! It's small but had everything we were looking for in a vacation. The place needs a bit of a renovation in a few areas but besides that it's a hidden gem!

The meal venues have amazing food! The employees are wonderful, personable and eager to please! The beach, with its views, is the best! Rooms are very comfortable and clean however there was a daily shortage of towels.

This is a nice place with a beautiful beach. The food was good and the people went out of their way to make us comfortable. This is not a brand new hotel so don't expect that and you will be happy here. My GF and I had a really nice stay and would not hesitate to go back. It offers a quiet, relaxed place to vacation that doesn't break the bank.

Great staff! Right on the beach without the high price. Friendly went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Views of the beaches were spectacular and the staff on the beach kept the drinks coming. Beach well groomed, no garbage or seaweed. Resort is older and needs to be updated. But for the price it’s a good bang for your buck. I would go back for the amazing staff and views.

Wonderful service and great restaurants for an all inclusive. Rooms are extremely dated and badly in need of a remodel and new furniture. No nightly entertainment except for a Mexican Fiesta show on Fridays that is pretty good.

Upon arrival our room was not ready, which was totally fine, we went to the pool and came back a couple hours later. When we received our room key it didn’t work resulting in us going back and fourth four times to find out someone was in the room they assigned. The air conditioning did not work the first night. Food options were lacking and no information on hours or what was open. Very run down property overall.

Where do I start? Do not book this hotel. The pictures is not at all accurate. The rooms are outdated and had issues with the A/C not cooling and then leaking. Also, the hotel has 5 restaurants. But if you only have 1 or 2 open per night, you don't have 5 restaurants. Glad I visit Cancun, would consider going back but not with this hotel.

First off they had me in king room when I asked for double bed. Only 1 hand and big towel and when requested more didn’t receive until following morning. Television didn’t work when reported was told 45 minutes but no one showed up. Had to wait till following morning to ask for manager when Marisol concierge manager stated she would send someone up. An hour later maintenance came unable to fix it so brought a whole new one. So 24jours no tv and we weee only there 3 days. But food was pretty good. Germany, Daniel, Helado were especially helpful and gave great service. Front desk needs better communication skills. Building needs overall paint job and quit patching things up for what they charge per night. Internet should not be extra charge

Honestly the staff was absolutely wonderful , I’m really upset though about various things. The phone did not work the whole time we were there , we asked three separate times to have someone fix that and nothing was done about it. Second , the first day we got there, there was a cockroach in our bathroom. Thirdly we had asked for towels since there was only one in the bathroom and they never brought them to us I had to ask again. Also , I did not get the room I booked. I asked for two beds and only got one. I would not recommend staying here if you want a smooth stress free vacation. Like I said the staff was very friendly however several things went wrong. Including only one person at the desk and a long long line as we were trying to check out and we were in a hurry to catch our flight. We stood in line for a half hour just to check out. The food was decent.

this property needs a WRECKING BALL, it is old/dated, restaurants/food and awful elevators are death traps, alcohol is the lowest of quality, showers barely work, bathroom sinks are dirty and broken, mattress are brown from old age, tv and phone and internet did not work, beach chairs are DISCUSTING old dirty and worn out, towels stink, the bathrooms throughout smell like there is feces on the floor due to sewer problems.... and im out of room i could keep going-THIS RESORT STOLE MY MONEY

We lucked out with a deal and spent $1,100USD each for a week stay. If the cost was more than that I would have been very very disappointed. We live in a small town with a tiny regional airport, most flights within the US start at $600. Pros: staff was wonderful. No one was trying to push the extras (spa/excursions) on us at all. Low key place with not many people there. Was always able to get a spot at the pool/beach that I wanted. 2 nights of entertainment out of the 7 we were there and the bars were dead after 9pm. This quiet atmosphere was what we like. Beach was beautiful! Cons: The food was blah at the buffet. Only 1 restaurant was open each night so if you go for less than a week you will never get to go to them all. Our room phone never worked. We told them the first day and followed up twice and there was never a response or resolution to the problem. We couldn't get room service because of the phone issue. One of the two tiny elevators broke on day 2 of our stay and never got fixed. With a 6 story hotel we got our steps in because waiting for the elevator took forever. The front desk folks were the least helpful out of all the staff. They didn't explain the hotel layout and didn't provide a map or time table for when things were open. There was no signage explaining when things were happening around the hotel. Watered down drinks at the pool/tiki bar. Ripped cushions on many chairs, no mini-fridge in the rooms, no coffee machine in the room... I can go on

Some of the restaurants were closed multiple nights during our 6 day stay. The hotel does need some updating but it appeared that updates have been made. Rooms were clean. We love the charm and the small size of this hotel. This was our 5th visit to the Golden Parnassus- the staff here is what keeps us coming back.

Planned a trip to enjoy the sun and relax. Nothing about this trip was relaxing. When we arrived to the resort we were not greeted or helped by the desk for 30 minutes, and to be told that the rooms are not even ready. There were only 2 places to eat; none of the staff knew the itinerary and it changed day to day. The site restaurants would say open and then closed and kept being told “Tomorrow, tomorrow”. Limited alcohol options. Room Service never picked up, had to go to front desk to order and still not receive any meal. Poor water pressure and very generic rooms with small televisions. And am coming home with tiny bug bites that I need to get checked for bed bugs. Overall was a horrible experience and would be coming back.

This was by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. The power went out a couple times (10 hours one day) and the air conditioning did not work, causing the room to be at a constant 25 degrees Celsius. Everything is outdated and only 2/5 restaurants were open our entire stay despite advertising 5. We actually left this hotel early to go to a different resort for the remainder of our vacation.

This is our third trip to the resort. There were a couple of issues on our first day (no electricity or towels), but it was soon resolved and the service, view and time at the resort was as great as our previous trips that keeps us coming back.

We liked the serving staff at the bars and restaurants at this hotel. The customer service was excellent. We checked out at 12 noon, but were able to stay and eat and use the pool, etc. until our shuttle picked us up at 3:00 for no extra charge. There is lots of eating and drinking options at this hotel. There is lots of bars and never a line up to get a drink. Pool and beach side service was also quick! The Paradise restaurant made to order eggs or omelets each morning and fajitas fresh for lunch. There was always breads, desserts, lots of fresh fruit each time as well. Also served were salads and a lot of Mexican sauces and soups, etc each time. On Wednesday night they had a special Mexican fiesta where there was lots of Mexican food and homemade desserts that were excellent! Then that night there was a Mexican cultural show with dancers. Our room #520 was excellent and clean. The ocean/beach view from our patio was the best! The bed was comfy and the shower was great. The beach was really great and had loungers and a life guard. The small pool over looked the beach and was our favourite. The other pool was nice and popular with lots of lounges available. A few spots around the hotel are a bit run down, but it didn't bother us or effect our trip. Also, the hotel does not do a good job of letting people know when there is a show or band playing. They should put a sign in the lobby to tell people. We would return to this hotel again as you get your money's worth for sure.

Pros: 1) It's all inclusive so we really enjoyed the unlimited food and drinks. 2) No need to reserve for the restaurants. You can just walk in and dine in. 3) Staffs were very friendly and helpful! :) 4) View from our room was amazing!! (Ocean view 🌊✨) Cons: 1) Restaurants were limited. We were expecting Shangri La to open but it didn't for our whole stay (knowing that we checked in weekends - it needs to be open esp weekends lol) 2) We paid 50USD for late check out but the there was no power the whole day lol (we paid for nothing, it was so hot so we needed the aircon too bad while waiting for our check out - we wanted to rest before our flight but nvm) 3) Experienced 1 night and 1 day with no power. and i guess they don't have generators. 4) Food was okay, it is not the best, it could be better. 5) WE ASKED FOR ROOM SERVICE BUT THE FOOD NEVER CAME. WAITED FOR NOTHING. SO I GUESS THERE IS NO REALLY ROOM SERVICE. 🤭 6) The whole hotel is old. It needs maintenance. Overall, 3/5 stars. We super loved Cancun, but I guess we will have to try other hotels nextime.

Overall the property was great but the air conditioning was terrible! The power kept cutting out even though it was bright and sunny with no clouds. The AC would not cool. Also, some of the restaurants were not open. We were limited to 2 options.

Excellant, This place is perfect to stay, and the people that rate is old, blah blah blah. Of course that’s old, but that doesn’t make it a bad place to stay. We had no issues, except for elevators breaking down, but they took care of us.

Shout out to the all the people that work in the actual resort. If you need anything ask the bellhops, bartenders, and service workers. Forget the front desk people. Huge compliments to Jose and Edith and many of the other countless people that worked there that were kind and helpful.

The hotel is dated but kept very clean. I would suggest that the restaurants be air conditioned and also not have the air conditioned set in the hotel rooms by the hotel. Some people like it either cooler or warmer.

We had no towels in room when initially entering room. Air conditioner was not working. We Had to literally ask EVERYDAY for an adequate amount of towels and cloth’s for 2 persons! Elevator was out 2 of our 6 days and we were on the 6th floor. Limited restaurants open. Many staff members were rude and dismissive. The building in general is extremely outdated and needs many upgrades. Very limited entertainment. Would never return and honestly feel we should receive at the minimum a partial refund. It was without exaggeration the worst all inclusive experience we’ve ever had.

The property is old and run down. The shower water smells and came out brown. The AC didn’t work well so it was so hot in the room. There were only 2 out let’s in the entire room. The food at the buffet wasn’t very good. The pool closes early.
