The hotel was very conveniently located and was attached to the BTS skytrain. My Dad and I took the skytrain as much as we could to see the city sights.

So convenient for the sky train. Had a lovely room by upgrading a little bit. And 'they listened'... breakfast was served hot and it was excellent. Lovely last day. Unfortunately left a nice van gogh bag in reception with a few bits and pieces in it. The renos are still ongoing but it didn't interfere with our stay at all.

The hotel under renovation is abit inconvenience an air-conditioning is bad not Cooling. The breakfast is really good many choice . The services staff front desk is polite an helpful.

The room wardrobe light should have an on/off switch & is also too bright. The door is spoilt and cannot be close fully😫, it really spoilt my sleep. The staff are friendly & helpful. The cleaner service no standard compare with others hotel, should go for training to improve. They dont really fold my clothing, just leave here 1 piece there 1 piece. Now is a little inconvenient for elderly & people whose legs got problem walking up and down the stairs inorder to go for their breadfast at the lower level. Anyway saw they are in the mid of upgrading. Looking forwards for their improvement. Breadfast quiet nice, can be improve.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are quite large. The buffet breakfast is outstanding. The staff were very attentive, respectful and kindly meet our needs. The staff operating the hotel’s tourist booth were amazing. Have been staying at this hotel for 15 years whenever coming to Bangkok because of all the above however am looking forward to the renovations being completed to enhance our stay even more.

It was my second stay at Asia Hotel. The area is so convenient and easy to get around with the river boat and sky train. Good food are always around so yes I am going back again. Just checked out on 4th Mar’24. Going back on 11th Mar’24.

This hotel exceeds me and my partner expectations. I was thinking it would just be a normal hotel but omg, for real, room is very spacious, bathroom is spacious with a bath tub. Room is so clean and staff will clean the room daily. Breakfast, not much choices, but the tastes is amazing! The location is perfectt too, just beside BTS train. Trust me, you’ll never regret staying here

Toilet and bed were ok but fridge was not clean, no safety box, no in-room slippers, no clothes iron (even when asked). Laundry service refused to do pressing only (had to be washing and pressing). Room was not ready after checking in (had to wait for extra bed to be installed). Breakfast ok but pretty much the same menu everyday.

The Asia Hotel was an excellent choice - clean, confortable, good facilities and an excellent location - Skytrain is right outside, canal ferry was close by, and we were able to walk to the Jim Thompson House). The staff were also very helpful and sorted out a few issues for us.

Rooms are a nice size and very quiet. Hotel is old so rooms are somewhat outdated but they are very clean. Attached to BTS station so very easy to get where you need to go. Buffet breakfast is decent.

Everything went well during our stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful.They offered us connecting rooms for our convenience upon check-in. They also let me access their secured WIFI at the lobby to complete MDAC and print them out. The one star I took off is for lacking of varieties for breakfast just for improvement, but it is enough.

I’m a frequent traveller and have been a "regular' client of Asia Hotel, having stayed there about 10 times in the past few years as the room rates were very reasonable and it’s in a great location. The hotel location is excellent and very convenient as it is in the middle of the city. There’s also a walkway from hotel to a BTS station from where you can travel anywhere in Bangkok. MBK shopping complex with an excellent (and cheap) food court is within a walking distance (or can go by BTS). At night, there are also yummy street foods very close by. However, the hotel conditions and standard have deteriorated in the last few times I stayed there (last few times in November 2023). The décor is old and I didn’t mind it too much but the carpets (everywhere in hotel) were old, smelly and look dirty. The rooms (I stayed in 3 different rooms and various times) had strong unpleasant odours, I think it might be due to dirty carpets and other things (eg old furniture). Housekeeper came and sprayed air-freshener (even onto the carpets) to no avail. Wash basins and toilets were sometimes not cleaned properly and there were often problems with water drainage in showers and wash basin. To their credit, someone would come and fix the problems promptly. The hotel is undergoing extensive renovation of the lobby which might make it nice and modern. However, without major renovation/upgrading/cleaning up of the bedrooms and bathrooms as well (and urgently), the lobby renovation would be

Hotel under renovation. Location is excellent as you can access Ratchathewi BTS directly from the second floor of the hotel to go anywhere in Bangkok. Nice market behind the hotel for fruits, so many restaurants around the hotel and 3 7-Elevens 2 minutes walk. However food in the hotel is not delicious in any of the restaurants. Staff dress very well in nice suits both men and women. Hotel bathroom - you always have to see water on the floor after shower. However, if you want to save some money, this hotel is a perfect choice because it is reasonably priced especially for a hotel in such an expensive area with expensive condos. It is also very clean. If this hotel could be renovated, it would be better than many 5-star hotels in Bangkok because it is very large and location is excellent.

Adequate, no frills reasonable value for money
Hotel communal areas were undergoing renovations which we weren’t told about in advance. Rooms are ok if a little dated, but location next to BTS Skytrain station is excellent. Breakfast buffet was chaotic with not enough tables really for guests…had to wonder round a few times then grab a table as people were leaving. I expect the renovations (reducing restaurant capacity) were partly to blame for this. Overall given the price we paid it was still value for money.
