Maldron Hotel Brighton City Centre
10/10 Excellent
"From reception through to the waiting staff and the cleaning staff we felt welcome and valued. Our deluxe double room was pristine. Bottled water awaited us and was supplied daily, along with luxury biscuits. Special mention to Ana and Renijini (Sorry if ive mis-spelled this wonderful young woman's name) - both of these women went the extra mile to enhance our restaurant experience. We'll be back."

DoubleTree by Hilton Brighton Metropole

"When checking in at the hotel I wa abruptly told that I cannot claim any loyalty points for the hotel stay because I booked through a 3rd party app. So what 3rd party? Airlines and other hotels don’t have issues like this. Ridiculous policy, when booking a hotel consideration of brand and loyalty definitely forms part of the decision. Then this and no point earned…"

Leonardo Hotel Brighton

"We booked in for two nights to attend a local wedding. The hotel was in a great location right next to the station and about a 15 minute walk down to the seaside. The rooms however, were quite frankly, bad. There were multiple mysterious stains on the carpet, the bedding felt cheap, and the bathroom was horrendous. There was no door to the shower, and the curtain only came about halfway to the top of the tub so the bathroom flooded when we showered. We also were only given two towels the first night, which was difficult. The leather headboard on our bed was cracked and peeling. This didn't bother us much, but the room overlooked the railroad tracks and we did hear trains all night. Overall, the hotel felt tired, and very much not worth the 651 quid we paid for two nights."

Four Points Flex by Sheraton Brighton Seafront
8/10 Good
"I really enjoyed this hotel and the bar area and the staff were excellent. No air con but fine for me. They gave me a room with a step shower but the bathroom had no grab handles so difficult for me. Silly because for very little money it could have been much better. Good breakfast and very good value for money . Room 133"

The Arundel Park Hotel

"Expedia gives this hotel 3 stars, however the sign outside and other sites give it 2 stars. I would say it’s closer to 2 stars based on the room we stayed in and our overall stay. The decor was dated, the tv didn’t work, the mattress was hard and pillows flat making for an uncomfortable nights sleep. The property is on the main road and having a room at the front we heard the cars all throughout the night. I appreciate the location but double glazing is a must. The bathroom was compact with no lock and the toilet so close to the wall, we had to turn sideways to use it! The towels were also small and one we were given was dirty. That being said, there were some positives including the staff during breakfast were friendly and the breakfast itself was nice. The hotel has a car park which many others in the area don’t and is a short walk to the centre. The room was clean but could do with modernisation to bring this up to 3 stars that Expedia claims it is."
