What you can expect
Join a guided horseback ride in Jackson Hole and experience the Bridger-Teton National Forest on horseback. View spectacular mountain scenery while winding your way through different landscapes, and stop along the way to enjoy a light lunch.
Head to the starting point and get introduced to the horses. Your guide will choose a horse for you, making sure to pick the one best suited to your size and riding experience. Then, set out along the trail, beginning with a climb up to Ann's Pond.
Keep an eye out for wildlife as you ride, particularly moose, which are often spotted having a drink at the water. From here, continue your climb towards Ann's Ridge, where you'll dismount and take a break for lunch.
Stretch your legs and take in the 360-degree views from the lookout, including incredible views of the Grand Teton Mountain Range. Then, sit down to savor a big deli sandwich, a bag of chips, and cookies. Your lunch also includes an apple, for you or your horse.
After lunch, hop back onto your horse and continue your guided trail ride, following the Ann's Ridge Loop and down the historic Bryan's Flat logging road before returning to the starting point. Willow Creek Horseback Rides is a permittee of the BTNF (https://www.fs.usda.gov/btnf) and is proud to be an equa
l opportunity service provider.
