Activity itinerary

Godzilla Statue
  • 20m
Near Yurakucho Station, there is a bronze statue of Godzilla that stands 3 meters tall (including the 50 centimeter base). It was installed in 2018 as the guardian deity of Hibiya Chante and with the hope of making Hibiya the Broadway of Japan. Godzilla, who has caused various incidents in Tokyo in movies and various social phenomena in real life, is an indispensable presence in the story of Tokyo.
Imperial Hotel Plaza Tokyo
  • 20m
The Imperial Hotel was established by the Japanese government in the mid-Meiji period (1868-1912) as a "State Guesthouse" for Japan, which until then had no accommodation facilities suitable for welcoming foreign dignitaries. Since then, the hotel has continued to support Japan's history by welcoming dignitaries from around the world as a representative hotel of Japan. Across the street from the Imperial Hotel is the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater. This place has continued to present culture for the masses in a prime location in Tokyo, despite being caught in the vortex of the turbulent history during and after World War II.
Tokyo Metropolitan Hibiya Public Hall
  • 30m
Hibiya Public Hall is a historic Gothic-style building. It was built with an earthquake- and fire-resistant structure in response to the Great Tokyo Earthquake that occurred just before construction began. The building is valuable not only for its artistic elements, but also for the various roles it has played in the course of history, including as a concert hall and for political speeches.
Soto Sakuradamon Gate
  • 30m
The outer moat of Sakuradamon is one of the most famous landmarks of the Imperial Palace. It is the place where the incident that triggered the end of the Edo period took place. The end of the samurai era began here. Visitors can also see seasonal plants and beautiful Japanese-style bridges and gardens. Take a leisurely stroll and learn about Japanese history with a guide.
Wadakuramon
  • 20m
Today, only the stone walls of the Wadakura Gate remain as the ruins of the gate. During the Edo period, this gate was closed to civilians and only samurai were allowed to pass through. In contrast to the buildings in the background, you can feel a strong shadow of the Edo period.
