Swellendam

Swellendam is a 2 hour drive from Cape Town. We depart from Cape town at 8am and travel on the N2. The route is scenic as we pass Paarl and Worcester until we arrive in Swellendam. Swellendam connects the Overberg with the Garden Route and is an attractive town with the Koornlands River running through it. Beautifully historic sitting at the base of the Langeberg mountains near to the R62 Wine Route.
Wilderness
From Swellendam we proceed with our route mainly inland until we reach the beautiful seaside town on Wilderness.The Wilderness has beautiful beaches, the mountains, the sea, everything is there.
Knysna

We eventually reach Knysna. This is the centre of the Garden Route where we base ourselves for the next 3 days as we explore the Garden Route. We check into the Premier Resort The Moorings Knysna, or similar. A great base from which to explore the Garden Route is Premier Resort The Moorings in Knysna set in the idyllic surroundings on the banks of the Knysna lagoon, amidst enchanting woodland gardens and , offering private access to the lagoon for hotel guests as well as boat launch and docking facilities at the hotel. The area is serene in its secluded Knysna Heads setting, with spectacular views of indigenous forest and less than 3km from the town’s centre. Very comfortable accommodation.
Day 2: We depart from Knysna after breakfast and head off to Addo Elephant National Park

Addo Elephant National Park

We do a game drive at this 3rd largest game reserve in South Africa. The Addo Elephant National Park has every animal which one can think of starting with the Big 5 and the rest of the other animals. See elephants, lions, rhino, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, zebra, kudu and much more
Bloukrans Bridge

From Addo Elephant National Park we head off to the Bloukrans Bridge for the highest bungy jump in the world. The cost of doing the jump is an optional extra for client to pay for. We then head back to Knysna for the night at the Premier Resort The Moorings.

The Heads are a stunning sight to enjoy from a number of restaurants, and provide the perfect backdrop for those indulging in water sports nearby. The East Head is the more accessible one, and visitors need only head to Leisure Isle and then follow the sign posts to be part of the drama and scale of this headland.
