"Nice clean room with a comfy bed. The pillows were thin and quite flat though. I was meant to get a 20% discount off food and drinks in the restaurant but this wasn’t honoured. Had a delicious Sunday roast in the restaurant and there was plenty of choice at breakfast. There was quite a bit of noise due to the road, trains and underground but that’s to be expected with the location. The floors were very creaky so any time anyone walks around the room it makes noise"

"Communication with the host was great. They met us at the apartment, gave us a run down on the place and some visiting recommendations. Apartment was located in a great spot within walking distance to great shopping, restaurants and beautiful sights. We did not find the apartment very well cleaned. It had black hair around the base of the toilet seat and in the shower. Floors were also not clean and needed a good vacuum. The upstairs ceiling is very low and an adult is unable to stand...

Our 1 bedroom was roomy, clean, modern, and comfortable, with an especially well-equipped kitchen for an apart-hotel. There was even a Le Creuset cafetière! "I paid £44 per night so I need to remember that it’s not going to be a 5 star rating! I liked the room size, there were enough mirrors and chairs. USB and USB C at the bedsides but low voltage. Lovely fluffy towels - glad there were 2 for me. Bed was comfortable. Good size wardrobe. Unexpectedly continental breakfast was included which was lovely. "Nice hotel in a convenient location. Though on returning in the evening there was thumping music from a bar opposite our room. Calling reception they advised that this would likely continue til approx. 4am. The hotel relocated us to a different room where we were unaffected by the music but it is disappointing that the staff are fully aware this will happen and that the room be given to a guest when others unaffected by the noise are available. That said the staff were very helpful in relocating...

"Location is good, close to shopping, pubs and food. Walking distance to the Cavern pub/club/restaurant. beware of homeless tent perched on the sidewalk next to hotel entrance. This hotel also services long term stays and our original assigned room smelled of tobacco smoke from previous tenant…front desk was able to relocate us to a better room. Thank you!"
