"Close to the Eiffel Tower and close to taxi stop"
Overall it was great, comfterable if I go into detail there was an incident where we needed to catch a flight and the hotel couldn't call for a cab we ran through the airport and it was a bit of a mess I'm sure that doesn't happen often
This was a nice hotel, close to the Eiffel Tower, but off the beaten path so very quiet at night. The room was a bit small, but very comfortable and clean. The breakfast spread was very good. The staff was excellent.
As it was our first stay in our europe trip, and for photo shooting purpose in Paris, we took cab to Eiffle tower and arc de triomphe as they were not so close to the hotel. walking distance may be 20-30 mins. Taxi fees around 10-12 Euros (one way). Some local taxi driver is not honest and cheeky (especially the young one), they will take a longer route and turn few round to get to your destinations which may costs you more. I said so because we were looking at the google map, and we've been walked back from Avenue de New York to Citadines.
The only thing i like is the hotel location, convenient to get our drinking water (Evian: 0.71 Euros) and snacks in "Les Bella" (small shopping mall: 5 mins walking distance) and Careffour City grocery shop is also nearby within 5-8 mins walking distance.
Besides that, there is a restaurant "XVI Avenue" is just opposite. Price is cheap and waiters is nice.
Perfect location and definitely worth the cost of having an Eiffel Tower view though from our room we could only see the top half of it. The female receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful though the night time male staff member dis interested in doing nothing more then giving us our room key though he spoke perfect English. Would definitely stay again. Loved it. Metro station 2 minute walk away too

The streets southwest of the Arc de Triomphe comprise exclusive residential properties, embassies, dynamic modern architecture and smart restaurants. Riverside landmarks are the grandiose Palais de Chaillot in its fountain gardens, the Palais de Tokyo and the Maison de Radio-France (free concerts). Beyond the Périphérique, the Bois de Boulogne is a park with lakes and plentiful leisure amenities but is best avoided after dark.
