"nice renovated hotel. The bar, coffee/giftshop, fitness center, and hotel rooms give an updated retro feel. All hotel staff seem warm and most will greet you when you pass by. The hotel coffee/giftshop will be your earliest access to coffee in the area should you not want to use the hotel room machine. The area around the hotel is quaint for access to gift shops, fun/cheap bars, some restaraunts, the train depot, bike rentals, and city history. There is a weekend market nearby I didn't go to....

"Good location, great view from our room, decent breakfast. Other than the lady who checked us in who gave us our room with a view, the rest of the staff seems to have trouble speaking English and therefore communication was difficult. Breakfast was packed with people and the breakfast area was poorly laid out which made for a traffic jam around the food. Overall a pleasant stay."

"This was an easy property to find with convenient parking. An easy drive to downtown Anchorage and restaurants nearby. Our host welcomed us with fresh fruit and a bottle of wine. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the apartment."

"The place was gross. The pictures make it look better then it was. Staff were nice but the room had no A/C and it was very very hot. Shower water was either boiling or cold, sink handle just fell off, paint falling off everywhere. The room was overall pretty gross but you get what you pay for."

"Property is close to downtown Anchorage . However , the sorroundings feels unsafe . The day we checked in , we had a neighbor being charge of sexual harassment and lewd acts which is so creepy . We can smell the smoke within the property. The front desk was ok . Accomodating . No fridge ,or complimentary water at least . Property looks unkept and charges were so expensive . "This place was terrible. Dirty we had two towels no washcloths no hand towels. And not a lot of anything else. We had a TV through the cracks your cable that went to nowhere so we got about four channels. Luckily I plugged my computer in with an HDMI cable and was able to watch some good shows off my computer. I would highly recommend you not stay here."

"We loved everything! Pleasant helpful staff, beautiful full breakfast every morning until 9:30 M-F and breakfast until 10:30am Sat and Sun. Nice large laundry FREE for guests FYI Walmart is literally across the small road to buy trail size laundry soap. The front desk does offer laundry soap to buy but Walmart has it for only $1.17 a load when you go to the travel size section in Walmart. The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast for few days in a row had the same egg with cheese...

"Unfortunately, this place was not what we were expecting. There were some things that prevented the apartment from receiving higher ratings. For example, no screens in the windows plus no AC meant we were hot the entire time. Also, the half bath has no fan, so when nature calls, you share it with the bedroom… especially with the barn doors. Finally, the pictures make it seem like the entire place is yours, but you are no one of four apartments in the home."
