“Loved Newport”

Very pleasantly surprised at the conditon of room and large kitchen plus laundry service within the room. Close proximity to cbd and beach very convienient, plus the staff were very friendly and helpful would love to stay again.

“Fantastically positioned”

Overall a pleasant stay the motel rooms that we stayed in were clean and well appointed the only unpleasant thing was the noise and shouting off the road that kept us awake probably a once off scenario but unpleasant at the time. This positioned right in the centre of everything and highly recommend it from this point of view. Next time we will stay in the apartments and our stay insure will be fantastic.

Newport is in a great location. Underwaterworld is literally next door, which sits on the wharf precinct. The boulevard cafes, restaurants and shops begin acrossthe road from Newport. The beach is a 2 min walk. Great views from apartments, we had a ocean view. Staff were great and helped with any issues we had. They even lent my daughter a bucket and spade set to take to the beach. The apartment was clean and spacious. Two bathrooms, two balconies. Very happy with Newport overall. The pool and spa were great.

“The kind of hotel to book wherever you affordable”

First of all we were greeted at the front desk by lovely staff with smiles- first impressions. For a one night stay it was very comfortable and homely like.

“Could be much better”

I really liked the fact that the hotel provided us with cutlery, plates, bowls, etc for late night snacks. The bedrooms only had fans in them which was disappointing as it was extremely stuffy inside the rooms and an air conditioner would've been more ideal. The hotel DID NOT provide us with toilet paper when we ran out and had to buy our own and did not change our towels daily - MASSIVE DOWNFALL. Could not call reception desk after 8pm to ask questions. HAD TO PAY FOR WIFI!!!!! Check out time was 10am and my flight was at 5pm so we had to pay an extra $50 to stay until 3pm which i thought was overpriced. Heated pool and sauna was nice and pool was only 1.2m deep which didnt leave me the problem of my kids having to swim in the deep end. Overall wouldn't return.

“Good location but not worth the money”

The only good thing about this hotel was the location. For the price i was expecting a bit more luxury but the hotel was dated and wasn't the cleanest. The other guests seemed to all be teenagers that planned on keeping everyone else in the building awake all night. I was woken several times during the night by loud music and people yelling and screaming.
