The hotel is nice for a quiet retreat nothing much to do beyond that, the food is good starting with an extensive breakfast buffet. It need a lot of maintenance and cleaning of those rooms that were painted as a lot of paint residue and spots were left on the headboard.

The route to reception is very impressive, with waterfalls and fountains, giving a very attractive facade. Lighting at the desk is far too bright, making it difficult to read the forms to sign at check-in. The room was very comfortable and welcoming, well designed and a lovely welcome gift of balloons and fruit to wish me happy birthday. A lovely touch, although it wasn't my birthday. There are plenty of places to eat, with good choice, but it's forbidden to bring your own food and drink and the mark up on drinks is substantial. I genuinely had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten for an evening meal, and breakfast was very well stocked with various food options. It was almost impossible to find cutlery and glassware, and somewhat disappointing to see flies around the pastries and watching a small child licking things to see if she liked them (then returning them to the counter). While this is a parenting issue, staff were oblivious to it and it rendered much of the food, for me, inedible. Staff were very polite and courteous, and the fire show was very entertaining. Had a very relaxing weekend stay, with no major issues. I'd definitely book to stay again if in the region.

Let down by f&b
A beautiful resort with lovely rooms but sadly let down by its f&b offering. First night ordered a starter to share and two mains. One main arrived and was finished before the starter turned up 2nd night the Diwali buffet. A lot of empty food not replenished and filthy tables, third night ordered room service. Waited over an hour and was served cold food. Went back to the restaurant with said cold plates and then waited to be served again. Got our food before any drinks. Breakfast was a mess every morning with filthy tables and no cutlery. Pool bar doesn’t have plastic glasses so you can’t actually have a drink by the pool.

Very run down. Toilet had ants and cockroaches. Free parking is deceptive as its inconvenient Breakfast area was leaking when we visited, theres already limited seating. Food had plenty of flies hovering around.

Resort is beautiful. However, the buffet restaurant is full with blackfly. It's terrible and unbelievable that they don't have cover for food!!! Resort activities are mainly for Fri,Sat and Sun. We stay from Tur to Thur abd found it nothing to do in the Resort, only swimming and gym! The tour also request to book one day in advance. It's really a bad experience here.

The estate structure was beautiful but buildings badly need refurbishment. My unit's roof leaked during a storm though stopped shortly after. The staff was slow in responding.

Not Worth the Price! Will NOT Return!
We booked in 2 of the family villas. Very disappointing to say the least. The villas are old and run down. The rooms were lacked of usual amenities. The safe in both rooms were unfunctional. The towels provided were so old and yucky. The only positive thing was the bicycle provided to guests at no cost, deposit refunded. The bicycle attendance were the only one pleasant. Breakfast has a good spread but lacked of staffs attending and they definitely need some human skills training to work in hospitality. When requested for extra bowls and/or plates, staffs kept referring guests to ask other kitchen staff. Will not be returning to this Avani. We're very disappointing considering the amount of money we spent on these 2 family villas. Not worth it!

Overall is ok. Bucky service was really pack during check out time and waited for long time. Restaurant have to book early and only able to get table in late dining hours but they will call you immediately when table is ready early.

I booked one night and had to leave early at 5am due to bugs and excessive bug bites. There were ants all over the place also. The room had a strong scent and dirty sheets. One bed had yellow spots on the sheets. We called house keeping to have the sheets changed but they were still dirty.

Took 3 hours + for the check-in process. Only shampoo given but no body shampoo. Th room is not clean. Still can see dust at door edge and blanket can feel not as clean as it is with good smell. The room price is not equal to their service:(

Environment is great but the hotel facilities and equipment is bad and old. Staff is well trained even hotel highly occupied. Even through there were no excuses that room is not properly clean and sanitizing during these particular pandemic situations. Cabinet, TV, sofas is full of dust and not clean at all. Not even remember to setup basic amenities such as shampoo, bathroom and etc.

Beautiful view and loved the overall surrounding. Super disappointed however with F&B service especially during breakfast and sahur, buffet wasnt refilled and no options for sahur provided on day 1. It may be due to lack of staff but surely this can and should be monitored closely.

Unpleasant and over-rated resort
Absolutely bad experience for so call 5-rated resort where getting nice food became a big challenge. No facilities except 1 basic restaurant is open which made me feel why is this not mentioned on their site. To. Include, it’s absolute waste of time and money.
