“Quiet and Away From it All”

Quiet hotel in a quiet part of town (South Portland is outside the city limits). Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean and quiet. You will need a car to get around and there is not much going on in this part of town, but it is a great place to stay if you have plan when visiting Maine.

“Super 8”

It was a great stay. It would be nice if there were refrigerators in the rooms!

“Super Super 8”

This hotel is under renervation or they have closed off annex sections. It was easy to get to, close to where I needed to be with friendly service. The room was clean and the a/c unit worked and didn't smell like a swamp.

“disappointed”

We arrived very late, almost midnight; There is no food there, not even a soda machine; We had to travel to a near by 7-11 ; I have a person that needs at least a pudding to take bedtime meds. so this was an additional pain in the neck. No breakfast to speak off. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, we did sleep well. Old fashion heating units, either you are hot or too cool. The bathrooms had black mold all around the tile; and there was not a tissue box to be found; Very disappointing; We did inform the clerk at check out, she apologized for the mold, and said it was the first she had heard of it. We will try the Best Western next to it the following trip. Very conveniently located near route 295 and the Maine turnpike, 95;

“good for price”

Not good distance to rooms for disabled. At least 100 ft to any room. Do not allow pets, this was a previous owners policy. Though, thanks to staff, we were allowed to have our dog stay.

“YIKES ! ! Super 8 South Portland ME”

Location and personel were very good to excellent but the motel was marginal at best. First room was wrong, key wouldnt work. after that we moved to another room - outlets on the walls were burned with pieces of plugs still hanging out! Refrig didnt work, had to have the AC/Heat turned on by reception (after messing with it for 30 mins), no fitted sheets and standard size pillow cases on king size pillows. Also something (ketchup or peanut butter I hope?) on the wall - and this was our second room! The pool as closed and had been all summer and the wireless internet did not work. Of course we paid very little little so cant complain too much. The bed and bathroom was clean and they were working on the other units.
