“The friendly staff are fantastic.”

Have been to the hotel twice once in 2007 and 2009,both times for a two week holiday. It is mainly a transit hotel, but being there long term means you get to know the staff and they all were kind, helpfull, pleasant and cheery. If I go back for another time I will certainly use this hotel again.

“Good hotel, Great location”

Hotel is brilliantly located near 2 underground stations and a bus stop. Only a short walk to Orchard road and about 20mins walk to Clarke Quay. The breakfast was a bit of a let down some days with some of the items being cold and the bacon and ham looking like it had been simmered in oil all night and then brought out in the morning. The room was big, the bathroom clean with a good shower, the roof top pool is fantastic and the reception staff very friendly and helpful.

“Location good, service really good, a few maintenance issues”

Bay view is in a good location. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our visit. There were a couple of small maintenance issues which need attention (taps in bathroom, handrail in shower falling off and panel on side of bath came off) An enjoyable place to stay

“This is the third time we have stayed.”

We have stayed in this hotel three times now using it for a stop over to New Zealand. Staff extremely helpful. There is a nice swimming pool on the roof of this hotel where you can relax. Hotel is not far from Orchard Road and all of its shops. We travel a lot - this is one of best hotels we have stayed.

“Great Hotel”

Roof top pool and relaxing area was excellent and usually empty. Gym very small. Breakfast was included in the rate. Hotel within easy walking distance of MRT (10 mins) even with luggage. Close enough to walk to the town centre too.

“A First Rate Hotel”

I would thoroughly recommend everything about this hotel. It is in an excellent central situation and the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. The food is good and great value, friendly helpful staff, couldn't be better!

“Extremely convenient if you have only 1 day to visit; all the conveniences you need.”

Having had a connecting flight from Ottawa, Canada to Chicago O'Hare cancelled on 2 successive days, my trip to Singapore was now down to Plan C: 1 full day requiring 2 nights at a hotel (the plane arrived at 1 am). After the delicious buffet breakfast (included) at the hotel, I walked about 100 m to the National Museum. As it had not yet opened, I continued on to Fort Canning Park, just behind it, and walked up & around this scenic and historically significant site. Strategically placed information plaques told me all about the history of Singapore. A short walk down from Raffles Terrace took me to the Parliament Building, and on to Raffles Landing Site and a nice Boat Tour on the Singapore River, including past Merlion Park. I then visited the outstanding Asian Civilisations Museum, walked by the Concert Hall, Supreme Court & City Hall, St. Andrews' Cathedral, and back to take the Battle Box Tour at Fort Canning Park. Then on to the National Museum for their Singapore History wing (the 30 minute multi-media show at the entrance is a must-see), and a visiting show of Greek Sculpture. A taxi was waiting for me at the door next morning to take me to the airport. And all the people show the world how to live in peace and harmony!
