Cosy stay but with one small issue - Do Not Disturb light was on, but housekeeping came in anyway to clean the room and Do Not Disturb light. Appreciate but I guess it will be good to honor the guest wish instead.

Hotel been around for some time, well maintained internally and comfortable. Would consider as the best Biz hotel in ZJ High tech park area and walking distance to the ZJ metro line to get to more decent nearby malls which is one station away.

My favorite hotel in Shanghai
One of my favorite hotels when staying in Shanghai. One metro station away from the Maglev train to Pudong Airport. I like the harmonious and relaxant "Japanese-like" atmosphere inside the hotel. Staff is helpful and efficient. Rooms are well designed, spacious, clean. Beds are in top class. I like to use their gym, swimming pool and SPA (hot tub, steam room, sauna), 1 h quality massage for 300 RMB. Welcome fruits plate and mini bar. Breakfast buffet is not exceptional nor extremely luxurious but completely acceptable. If like me you are afraid of height, you will appreciate that this hotel has only five floors. So you will not have to sleep in a room at level 15, 25 or 35 and wonder how you will take you out of here in case of fire. If you have an early flight or train from Hongqiao don't stay here because it will take you too long to reach the station/airport. I almost missed a train once.

Amazing stay at the parkyard hotel and train info!
We had an amazing time in shanghai, the parkyard hotel was a wonderful stay. The business suite was clean and The shower was very nice. The greatest thing about the hotel is the breakfast buffet, it was absolutely delicious. I will be comming back to stay 1000% I recommend anybody to stay here. And take the line 2 from the airport to the high technology park $1.00CAD. The train also goes right to the bund!! Cheers!

Got upgraded to a suite, very good surprise in this excellent hotel! A pity that the gym closes at 11pm. Wish it can be 24 hours access with room key. The laundry is very efficient with good staff support, however the chemical they used for dry cleaning has some strange smell.

The exterior of the hotel looked quite old. But once I walked inside the hotel had a very luxury vibe. The staff were able to communicate well in English and had a great service. From the airport I took the subway and didn't even have to transfer. Great location that it was a 5~7 min walk from the subway. Right next to the hotel there was a small mall where they had varieties of different dishes. Even Korean & US franchises.

I always liked to stay at Parkyard whenever possible. It is nice boutique hotel with excellent service and quiet rooms. Pool is superb and the evening band is top Filipino. Tony is the manager for many years and still watches out for details. It is conveniently located. Only a 3 minute walk to subway line 2 (I am 6-1). So if you don't mind walking, you can get to the hotel on subway line in 70 minutes, cbd and the Bund are 30 minutes by line 2.

The key benefit is the location for business visitors to the local business park, and if you in that category, and on expenses, just go for it, you will have a good visit. On the downside, that have functions outside in a large Marquee, which can be noisy, and in our room the air con was stuck at 24 degree.so you open the window, and the noise comes in. Not a disaster, but not OK at the prices charged.Otherwise all ok.

I recommend the Parkyard Hotel
Great value. Excellent place to stay in Pudong. Simple and elegant. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely garden to relax in. The Metro is 5-10 min walk making it easy to access places to visit in both Puxi and Pudong. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some English spoken, enough to order room service. Best of all was the food! Excellent. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious.

Nice hotel close to convention center
The hotel is situated close to the convention venue, which is a little way from the city centre. Subway station is close (around 10 minutes walk). Room is very clean and service is good. Would recommend and definitely would stay there again.

we had a reservation for three people, and they only gave us one bed if I wanted another bed I had to pay extra, the same for breakfast the reservation was for three and they only gave me two and the additional cost was more than 24 dollars and the front desk person answered that it was nothing .....

Heater no work, and no one cares.
I stayed at this Hotel in December 2017. Weather was 12(DAY)/4(NIGHT) C (55/39 F) Room A/C was bad. Never raised above 20C. I called reception maybe 10 times in 3 days. They all say "Ohh room so cold?" and that's it. Tech comes every time checks something then smiles and go. They don't speak english at all. Furthermore they are very bad understanding body language. To make them understand that it is cold, I covered myself with a blanked and shaken and that only made him laugh. I am sure he had a good time watching me. But I never had a good time staying there. I came home in Texas and I was sick. Never stay in this Hotel.

The Parkyard is a hotel specializing in traveling technology professionals, located in an industrial area of Pudong not far from the new campus of Fudan University. The area is modern and lacking in charm and retail (there is a fast food mall nearby but few nice restaurants). However, its location two blocks from a subway station (on line 2 between Pudong International Airport and downtown Shanghai) mean it could be quite convenient for tourists as well. Unlike many hotels in China, rooms are spotless, maintenance is immaculate and the breakfast buffet is extraordinary (even the European items like bread and pastries are exceptional). Rooms are understated but well-designed and elegant. Room comfort and soundproofing are both excellent. The room offers good facilities for working (desk, multistandard electrical outlets and decent internet). Staff were friendly, but not a single one I dealt with spoke a useful amount of English (even a question like "where is the subway station?" took some effort to translate). An expensive hotel, but the quality is as good as I have experienced anywhere in China.
