"Kind of rediculous to charge for parking when they have a large lot. This area is not busy so no need to charge extra cost. The fitness center was closed down and it seemed that only one elevator was working. Kinda needs an update overall. Bathroom toliet kept running. Room was ok but for the price I would expect better."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton. Room was clean and upgraded. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There were cookies out when we would come back at the end of the day and always water bottles available. We loved the pool and hot tub. Would recommend"

"The room we had was very clean and was well cleaned when we were away. It was very small and didn't even have any chairs or a table. It two beds and a dresser. No mini fridge. The L train was very noisy and it ran 24/7. You could hear it from the room. No free public parking. You have to pay at one of the lots that are nearby."

"Overall had a very comfortable stay. We enjoyed our room, which was quite large and comfortable. A little noisy with our window facing the alley. The first doorman we interacted with was absolutely delightful and so helpful. Unfortunately the other shift was covered by a somewhat surly and very unhelpful staff member. "The Silversmith Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the river, Millennium Park, and lots of museums and attractions. "This hotel was in a good location and our room was huge! Tons of space AND the kitchen! We also had huge windows that allowed for a bunch of light and I loved the beautiful smelling lotion! I'd recommend staying here if you want to spread out and be comfortable, but also be close enough to the pier/downtown to walk if you didn't have a car."
