Good breakfast, terrible smell in the hallways and bedrooms that with ac improved some. Bathroom exhaust fan didn’t work, the TV remote super old with all the channels translated into Spanish and no English option. Little details here and there lights, fridge, shelves, outlets but overall an affordable place to stay in a killer area

I like the room was of a good size. The bed was comfortable. I like the included breakfast that was very good. I like that it was safe and quiet. It is a large hotel of 12 floors and there were a lot of people checking in every day. They have a nice pool on the 12th floor with a beautiful view of the area. They also have a complete gym with a spa. I didn't like that there was not a microwave or coffee maker in the room. They offer complimentary coffee downstairs on the first floor.

The staff is the best. Extremely courteous and helpful. They also spoke English. There is a very good restaurant next to the hotel but it is closed on Mondays. The breakfast was ok. More of a European style. The fit/weight room is excellent. There is also a large jacuzzi. The room was comfortable with a balcony although there was no outdoor furniture. The bathroom has a bidet. The shower didn't have a glass that fully closed which left a puddle after I showered. The carpet in the hall was a little stanned. Overall the stay was nice but I would probably stay closer to downtown where more restaurants and clubs were within walking distancie. The taxis were quite expensive. Everything was expensive for that matter.

The place is actually nice however need some attention. Our bathroom was smelling like sewage really bad. The spa area had nice features but was dirty and never had towels after 5pm. The pool area need some serious attention. The lounge chairs were falling apart and the deck was scary to walk on. Breakfast was really nice, small but great items. Staff was very friendly and nice. The hotel is located near to several restaurants and a mall and we were able to walk every evening for dinner. We felt safe. Overall ok experience but would not recommend unless the place goes through a renovation.

Excellent choice to walk around, convenient in many ways (grocery shops, restaurants, not that far from bus terminal, etc). Breakfast choices are not amazing but ok. Airport is very far though, so check transportation first.

We stayed here for almost ten days. We first stayed in a suite and had to extend our stay by two days. The first room I wrote a review about already. Don’t recommended the suites. The second room was better, but still wouldn’t go back. The door handle barely worked. There were occasions where we had to get staff to come help open the door and they already knew about the issue, but it hadn’t been fixed. The card slide for power in the room was also not functioning properly and we we had to call for staff to help, again they knew of the issue but it hadn’t been fixed. The water in the toilet kept running. We had the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, but the staff still came in our room to tidy up etc. I had things misplaced because of this and had to go looking for them. No clue if anything went missing yet since we are still traveling. The included breakfast was terrible. The hot tub was gross to be totally candid. The water was yellow and smelled odd. The staff was otherwise friendly and helpful at the front desk. Convenient location. Beds were mostly comfortable which is a bonus, we’ve stayed in far nicer places that had much worse beds. Still won’t go back.

We got a room with a massive balcony that we paid extra for, but it had no furniture on it to use it. The staff we spoke to said there was nothing to do for this. It’s dated and aging with the floors needing replacing, but not the end of the world. Friendly staff. Clean overall. The pool has no sun umbrellas and is cold. The “hot tub” on the first floor was huge, but the water was green and had an off smell to it and the entire area. The included breakfast was different types of bakery items, some fruit, runny egg mixture and Uruguayan style yogurt. The area itself was nice with plenty of options for food, close proximity to the Rambla & beaches. There is no outside sitting area other than the pool area. We might stay here again, we might not. We definitely won’t pay for an upgraded room here again that’s for sure. I wish I could get a refund for the extra we paid for that because it was extra, but unusable space.

Nice hotel reasonably priced. Location good but not central. Adjoining restaurant quite expensive. Nice swimming pool and staff spoke English. One (bearded) person on reception answered ‘well you have now’ when I said that I had never experienced 10am checkout before. I found this a bit rude even if he was trying to be funny.

Very disappointed for a Wyndham brand this was the worst… sheets not fitting the bed resulting in exposed Matress…dirt on floors no vacuum…. Cleaning left us with only 1/4 roll of toilet paper… cups not available even to make our own coffee…. Not what you would expect from this brand

I liked this hotel very much. The only thing is the design of the bathtub is absolutely terrible; I risked twisting my ankle, or worse. When stepping in, there is an area intended to rest the head when in the tub, but it there is no visual indication that it is there. Therefore, you step in and slide down to the side. That headrest should be place on the other end so that one can step into a flat area of the tub.

The thermostat in the room didn't work. Really the only thing that didn't like about the hotel. The staff and the service were great, and the area is very nice. Also, the breakfast was very complete.

For a few years it has been our home in Montevideo when we go to visit our family there. The location is excellent, the rooms are big and comfortable, breakfast is included and is very good, and all the employees are friendly and helpful. There are a few issues probably due to post pandemic lack of money, but at the end of the day not affecting your stay.

My hairdryer didn’t work in the morning when getting ready to check out I asked for one went to breakfast to give them time . Upon return still No hairdryer . The one in the room was broke it smoked and burn up when I tried to turn it on. Not sure why nobody came to replace it or even offer to use one that worked somewhere else.

Room smelled “funny”. Huge fungus stain in shower ceiling that we had to ask twice to have cleaned before they did Shower water leaking into bedroom underneath wall. Room was not cleaned one day - they forgot and came at 6:30pm to do it. Breakfast is quite limited - the warm food was not maintained warm and sometimes was not even refilled. Tables were left dirty for a long time sometimes over an hour. Entrance public bathroom (used for when going for breakfast) has SEE THROUGH stalls and one of the stalls does not even have a lock. Just not acceptable.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood. There is bus going the old city just outside the hotel. It is within walking distance to the punta carretas shopping center and the rambla. Staff is friendly and helpful.

First the breakfast buffet was very good, especially the eggs. The parking was not so good, rather dreary. The room temperature was hot upon entering and it took some time for it to cool down. The toilet was not functioning properly, tho only a minor annoyance. Let's say the overall stay was not dazzling.
