“nice hotel”

Driveway was a little tricky, but the hotel was nice. We picked this hotel because of the indoor pool. We usually stay at the Landmark Inn because the kids love the cement slide on their outdoor pool but I decided to try something with an indoor pool because we were only staying 1 night. (These rooms are cleaner!)The pool is small but my 3 kids were the only ones in it and they had a blast. We stayed the night of the flash floods(outdoor pool would not have happened!) and didn't even notice how bad it was outside. There was a lot to choose from in the breakfast buffet. We had 6 in our party and everyone found something they enjoyed. It wasn't cooked to order but was great considering it was included in the price of the room. Will definately stay here again. Staff was friendly. Daughter misplaced my digital camera and someone turned it into the front desk. It is nice to know there are still honest people out there!

“Pikeville Holiday Inn Express”

Aside from the difficulties finding the driveway to the hotel, the hotel offers what you would expect from a highway hotel if you need to spend the night on a long trip. We spent the extra money because my wife wanted to stay at a hotel with an indoor pool; when we checked in, we were told that the pool was down for maintenance. That was disappointing. The well-stocked breakfast buffet made up for it.
