"An incredibly special hotel that commands a beautiful location overlooking the town of Santa Margharita Ligure. The grounds are spectacular and the staff could not had been more helpful or welcoming. Breakfast on the wrap around terrace admiring the spectacular views was an absolute pleasure. If you like traditional elegant hotels, this is a must."

The building and facilities were older, but that seems to come with Portofino. There was an issue with the room safe that the staff fixed, although the television in the room continued to freeze and did not appear to be fixable.
