We stay in Bayview every year during St Anne feast in July ever since it opened when my son was only 3 playing in the kids pool, now as working adult he has moved into the pool with the sunken bar. Nestled quietly at the end of ferringgi beach, be it hill view or sea, room is always good, clean spacious and comfy. Staff has always been friendly and efficient. Love the massage under the trees. The night market is only 15-20 mins walk away. It's a great place for family esp with their kids pool. It's my second stay this year and I am planning for a 3rd staying in December when my brother comes back from Vancouver. This hotel is our only choice our second home when in Penang.

Very pleasant and relaxing hotel to stay in. Room was in great condition, only minor issue was there was no bathtub, just a shower. Wonderful location for shopping (excellent Queensbay Mall just half a block away) and a quick taxi to the industrial zones. And just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop to George Town (right in front of the Mall). Staff were very helpful. I didn't eat here as a little expensive by Malaysian standards and also there were lots of great local restaurants nearby. Beautiful rooftop swimming pool. Had a crying baby next door the first night, but the walls must be pretty well insulated as the crying was much louder in the corridor than in my room. Overall, highly recommended.
being a boutique resort, it was a lot smaller than its neighbours but with the smaller offer, came a much more personalised stay.
The staff remembered you but did not act overly familiar (like they were watching you!) which was lovely and always felt welcome.
The rooms were lovely did not feel like a hotel, were updated but not modern which was great as it kept to the style of the hotel. I hate going overseas and feel like you are in a room that could be the design of a new home showroom with none of the ambiance of the location you have just travelled many mile to visit.
Being by the pool was relaxing and never did you have to reserve or fight for a lounge next to the pool.
Penang is clean and friendly with very few locals following and soliciting their wares.
