The location was quiet and about 10-15 mins walk from most of the attractions, which can be a good thing especially after a hectic day. That said, most of the shops around the area during our 2 days stay were closed (Sunday check in)..we found out from our guide the next day that most of the shops in Palermo are closed on Monday mornings too. Also, the reception girl who greeted us on Sunday didnt seem to be well versed in some of the stuff ...for eg, when we asked about the free AMAT shuttle buses, she didnt seem to know about it, and told us we had to buy tickets (we later saw the hop on and off bus, and this was confirmed by our tour guide the next day). She also didnt book our taxi to the airport although this was discussed. Fortunately, we checked it again later with another guy, Luis (? spelling), and he booked it for us, on the afternoon the day before our departure.
Overall, the apartment was okay. I had to fix the kettle cover, which had come out when we first enter the apartment, but other than that, everything else worked well. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was fantastic :) . Breakfast was good by B&B standards.
