“Nice little Bed and Breakfast”
Very quaint. Good value for the money. Breakfast was really nice. The walls are somewhat thin and if you're on the top floor there are a lot of stairs to climb but other than that, it was very comfy
“Wonderful stay.”
Very quaint! Many B&Bs have had their charm stripped away, modernized to an overwhelming, cold beige. This place was homely, with a delicious breakfast, and an English quirkiness circa 1975...but not Fawltey Towers quirky. Loved it. Clean as a whistle. Resident manager is a hoot.
“Charming Guesthouse”
This is a charming guest house positioned about 200 meters away from the entrance to Blenheim Palace, but only about 20-30 minutes (depending on number of stops) to the city center of Oxford. It is old and so has lots of character, but the room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed and great amenities. The breakfast was very good and the staff could not have been nicer. A fantastic place to stay if you are looking to stop in this part of the Cotswolds.
“Great B&B”
Great little B&B, just round the corner from the side entrance to Blenheim Palace. Room on third floor was nice, great view, breakfast was freshly cooked for us. Staff were friendly and helpful.
“B & B within cafe”
Very basic rooms, clean but needs upgradeing, staff were fine and helpful
“A Blenheim Palace day out”
No omne there when we arrived but the key was there for us. It was very warm in our room on a cold evening and the hotel was very handy for all the places we wished to go to. Breakfast was well cooked and presented and we enjoyed our stay.
“A small B&B but rooms were surprisingly comfortabl”
It was good value and exactly what we expected for the amount we paid. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
“Nice cosy house”
Very well-located house, in Woodstock and literally next to the park of Blenheim Palace. The room was clean and comfortable, looking like a cosy room in your own house. It took me some time to flush properly and to understand how the shower door worked. The fan was also quite noisy but all the rest was fine.. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was good. Perfect if you plan to visit Blenheim Palace or go to Oxford (20 minutes).
“Nice village, guesthouse was disapointing”
The guest house and the rooms need so love and money spent on them. The bed was old and you could feel the springs coming through so it was not a great nights rest. The carpets looked dirty and had not been cleaned for a while. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The place feel tired and old. It was not expensive and that needs to be taken into account but I would not stay again.
