The manager was rude and incompetent. Before we got there we called to add a night to our stay. He said he would add the room for another night. When I called back to tell him I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation he became angry, and told me he would not do it then but would take care of it when we got there. Well, when we got there they were sold out and I could not get the extra night.

Clean affordable place to stay on a budget. Nothing special, nothing bad. Safe area, felt ok letting kids go off alone to stores nearby. A few things a tad but dingy as in older and possibly needing to be replaced, but clean.

Adequate and cheap, but they need to replace all the carpeting. Everything else was cool. Just needed an inexpensive place to sleep for one night. On our way home.

The staff and management at this hotel are very kind. I called ahead to ask for late check-in, and I was assured that my reserved room would be available. I didn't arrive until 1 am! The desk clerk didn't bat an eye and I settled in my room. They also allowed me a late checkout. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. I highly recommend this hotel. I will stay here again whenever I travel through this part of Illinois.

Location good, right off 64. Recliner in our room broken. Couldn't turn on TV, front desk first said he couldn't do anything. Took remote to desk to get new batteries, then figured out power button on TV ourselves. Free breakfast was waffles, toast-no jelly, cereal- no milk.

Walked in to a man playing on his mobile phone with his bare feet on the counter. Musty smell, room was hot and not cleaned but at 1am just rolled with it since we were tired.

Everything felt hostile about the workers. When I checked in notices that I must return the single key they gave me or I would be charged. When I was leaving I was asked 3 times if I was done, an hour before checkout then he stood there waiting to clean the room. Very strange and uncomfortable. Old place.

The hotel is very poorly maintained. The rooms look like horror movies hotels. They need to remodel or maintain the property well.

Mold city
The floors in the room were sticky and gross, there was mold all over the bathroom wall, mold in the HVAC, very disgusting hotel.
