Really nice place but the “gym” leaves a lot to be desired so I wouldn’t use that as a reason to book. I had a room with a terrace which was great and I’m sure would have been even nicer on a day without a huge rain storm. :)

We had a lovely room on arrival until we sat on the bed! The staff reacted promptly and efficiently. We were allocated to a new room, same layout and spec, no hassle. We had a great stay. We took advantage of the rooftop bar which was reasonably priced. We didn’t realise there was a pool which looked so inviting. All in all a great hotel with attentive staff in a great location.

Checked into the classic room and was highly disappponted very bare room. Immediately upgraded the room to the Jr Suite and that worked out better for us. Very spacious, nice decor, big bathroom with a nice balcony with furniture. The towels were horrible, could use new towels. Room service was great! Staff helpful, helped with booking excursions. Restaurant bar was ok.

The hotel has a very good position just off Avenue Jean Medecin and opposite Basilica North Dame. Check - in was good, but paying a security deposit was a surprise.Our room was clean and the furnishings were basic. Crack in the bathroom sink. Two little milk cartons and two teabags each day. We tried once to have dinner, but the menu was limited, and because of the earlier rain, outdoor seating was still wet. Never went back. The hotel gave the impression of tiredness. A major plus was the helpfulness of the two staff who kindly located and printed our boarding pass.

Tea and coffee facilities were not topped up on a daily basis which resulted in us having to ask regularly. We asked for a shower mat as the base was very slippery but we were told there were none but were on order. However, our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed the bar and pool.

Worth it.
If you are looking to stay here splash out on one of the rooms with a balcony, they're roomy, comfortable and the signature smell is AMAZING! Right in the centre of everything, a 5 minute walk to the beach, 4 minutes walk to old town and about 15 minutes to the fountain (that's on the side of a big hill).

Decent hotel
Nice spacious room but a little tired decor wise. No real space for toiletries in the bathroom or somewhere to hang towels other than over the toilet which isn't ideal. The rooftop pool and bar area is a really good space and makes the hotel. Good location.

A good hotel and good value for money. 15 min walk to old Nice and a few minutes to shopping areas. Also very close to the tram and train station. A paid parking is available next door.

Great location and good service
Great location, top service, good aircondition (not too noisy), small but nice and clean pool. Great view from pool and terrace. Good breakfast. Nice beds. The rooms smels a little and Windows cant Open. Would certainly return.

The Mecure Nice Centre Norte Dame was an excellent choice for the Four of us. Very clean, polite and courteous staff, trendy bar with swimming pool and outside area to sit and see views of the whole of Nice. Only negative is the lack of a proper restaurant to sit and have a meal in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice reasonably priced hotel with friendly staff and the all important treat of a rooftop bar and swimming pool. Ten or so minutes walk to the beach and old part of town and restaurants... it's a really smart pick!

This was the most brilliant hotel. We arrived very late due to flight delays & they couldn't have been nicer at checking us in at 3am! The garden on the 2nd floor was a quiet sanctuary. And the rooftop pool & bar a real gem. Breakfast was impressive with something for everyone. The staff were superb. We'd highly recommend it.
