"We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as...

"Fantastic hotel. Everything was clean , and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows it age, but they do a great job keeping everything up to date. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast, but tasted great and fresh. The pool was warm and I enjoyed that they keep it open until 10pm. I was able to take a quick dip after dinner. The pool is a heated as well."

"Seems like it would be a nice enough place to stay with the family for a vacation getaway right on a lake. However, we were traveling across I-80 and just needed a place to stay overnight. This was a ways off the highway, so it required some extra driving to get there. The room was okay. It's an old motel that has been renovated but still seems a little tired."

"Hotel was conveniently located by the Sherman Theater where we had tickets to a show. We were able to walk to & from & felt safe walking at night. Staff was very personable & accommodating. Breakfast had a variety of choices & coffee was always available. Room was clean & beds/pillows comfortable. Only negative was odor in room & hall that was heavily scented with air freshener. We would stay here again when in town for a show."

"The staff was extremely friendly and helpful for getting around the property. However, we came after check-in & the room we booked, was no longer available. Although we appreciated the upgrade, the room was dirty and not very accommodating. The amenities were also very misleading. Although wifi isn’t the most pressing issue, it was very poor."

"outdoor pool was not filled and unable to be used which that’s what we planned to do during the day. had to switch rooms on first night due to no ac. then got double charged somehow for my stay. the woman while checking in was friendly & helpful but not so much the male- when we switched rooms gave us cards that didn’t even work to new room."

It would have been nice to have an activities person at certain hours or certain days to engage the guest in simple activities such a bingo, pool volley ball or scavenger hunts to make it less of a gambling experience for those of us who do not wish to gambel night and day."

"I enjoyed the stay and one of the highlights was the free breakfast. They offered a variety of bagels and muffins along with coffee and orange juice. Cereal and milk was also there along with boiled eggs in the mini fridge. Saturday morning they had a waffle maker and it was delicious.
