"This hotel is very charming and old-fashioned in the best way. The rooms are spacious and modern, but the outside look and feel of the hotel is very quaint. The extremely helpful young woman at the front desk seemed to know everything about the island and was able to answer every question we asked. "We absolutely love Napili shores! It is such an authentic Hawaiian vibe without the high rise feel. The grounds are stunning and the staff is absolutely fantastic. A big shout out to Dylan and Angel. Also to the nice housekeeping gentleman who brought an extra blanket for our bed. You can’t ask for a better location right on Napili Bay. We can’t wait to return in October! Mahalo!"

"The location is excellent and having direct beach access is definitely a major plus. Unfortunately, the property itself is in need of significant improvements. Our room had a strong humid, musty odor that was very unpleasant. We had to sleep with the windows open because whenever the room was closed up, opening the door would bring back the heavy smell immediately. The walls and carpeting also appeared worn and unclean. While the location is wonderful, I don't think I would stay here again...

"I love how they have sunscreen for everyone, towels and lots of options for food. Dislike our room was dirty upon arrival, but that wasn’t that big of a deal to us. Everything cost extra including parking. Just feels like they try to nickel and dime everything. Some things should just be left alone. Other than that is was great!"

"Location, room size and staff are excellent. Beach and property well maintained and just beautiful. We did not use the pool as we did not want to fight for a chair - guests lined up before 8am to reserve chairs. Beach area and chairs were perfect."

"The property and rooms are very nice. Very lush and beautiful landscaping and easy walk to the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The issues that we had is that the air conditioner in the room was either not working properly, or undersized for the room. We had it set at 68 and it was hot in the room. We tried to turn it down to 66 and eventually 64, and I have a temp meter and the room was reading 80 degrees at night. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. We couldn't open the windows...

The only thing was we did pay for an ocean view, which from the smaller bedroom you and from the window perfectly, however from the main balcony had to really step over to the one corner to see it. We found the vibe to be relaxed and peaceful. We would recommend this hotel to others."

"We loved this hotel. While it's not a classic 'on the beach' resort, beaches are close by and the overall setting is beautiful. We had one of the 'fire lanai' rooms which turned out to be a great choice. The staff was great too. Next time we go to Maui, we plan to stay here again!"
