"The inside was very clean, manager was very helpful. The air conditioner and coffee maker was great. TV and sleeping quarters was good. I think the only thing I seen that needs to be addressed is all the barn swallow nests and their droppings need to be cleared away. Not a good thing to have bird excrement falling not only on our heads but also the hoods of our cars. Otherwise very nice place to lay down ones head for the night. 😊"

"Rooms are very dark. 2nd floor had a mildew smell. We had a strong sewer smell at 1030 at night in our room. They would not let us switch rooms they said they would come and spray they did not show up. The next day they sprayed some freshener. Only one USB outlet in the room. The fridge and microwave worked. We will not stay there again."

"There were LOTS of birds at the entrance carport. Had to pray you didn’t get pooped on when entering and exiting. The room had a smell-not a clean smell. Went to Walmart and bought a candle to burn and it helped."

"This hotel is advertised as being remodeled, but it was done very poorly. Some areas looked very nice, but there are holes in the wall, there is water leaking into the ceiling with mold, the curtains or torn, and the air conditioner sounded like a Truck in the room with you. The bathroom was not clean and the finish work in there was laughable. There was hot water and clean towels. The TV did not work. "Front desk staff are very nice . Hate to say the room and property not so much. I suppose they’re still under renovation but didn’t see anyone working on anything. I’m sure it’s all a time and money thing. If you need a decent bed and running water sure it’s fine . "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angel’s Nest B&B. Built on the highest point in Parker County, this is a lovely Victorian home built in 1890s with vintage furnishings, but with up to date amenities. A/C, electricity, TV, etc. Comfy king size bed, delicious breakfast, clean, welcoming staff, wonderful wrap around porch perfect for sitting outside viewing for miles while enjoying a gentle breeze. "Well, we had the Do Not Disturb flag on our door at 10AM and they flagged our room to not get cleaned. This hotel cleans rooms every other day, so our room ran out of toilet paper as well as tissue paper and towels. The day after they didn't clean the room, I asked the person cleaning on our floor and she stated she would note that our room needed to be freshened up, our room was not cleaned. "I pulled the sheets off of the bed to inspect for bedbugsupon arrival as I do in every hotel and found the mattresses completely stained up and gross. The sheets look like they had been slept in. There was supposed to be Wi-Fi, but it never was accessible therefore the Roku TV didn’t work and I couldn’t access emails or any data. The shower had pink mildew on the shower curtain. If I had had any other choice, I would’ve gone somewhere else."

"It was very clean and beautiful and quiet. No other guests when we stayed. The bar tender was very kind and sweet. The only real dock on rating for us is that the food was hit or miss for the price and there were two locals in the bar at dinner that were super annoying and made our dinner experience very uncomfortable. "This location and house are so excellent that it makes the trip. This place is so luxurious that this may as well be the object of our trip. It runs right next to the river, and enables a family to play, relax and explore for hours. We also enjoyed the games, the amenities and the location itself. It is a minor distance away from neighbors and the town, just far enough away for privacy and a feeling of exclusivity.
