My girlfriend shared an amazing few days at the Adina Hotel Apartments in Melbourne's CBD from October 9 to 11th. It was nothing short of an amazing experience, from all easy access to all the sights and attractions of Melbourne, including being situated right across the road from Crown entertainment complex. Also the extremely helpful staff that assisted us from our arrival, right through to the moment we checked out was nothing short of amazing and welcoming.
Thank you very much Melbourne and Adina Hotel Apartments.
We will definitely be back ! :)
"Hard to find on foot the first time, but excellent"
Great place, new, 5 minutes walk to the riverfront with cafes and bars etc.
Fresh room- could do with a few more lights in the bathroom, but beautifully appointed.
Lifts to the 40th floor are fast, and all 3 operating.
Don't lose your key or they will charge you $200.
Have stayed in a few 'chain hotels'. This one by far exceeds any thing prior to this. From the moment we checked in, everything was impressive. From the friendly and attentive staff, the more than accomodating rooms, to the presentation of the food (especially p.m.)!
No offense Melbourne but after only a few hours of arrival here for the first time, I thought my few days here would not go quick enough, but Novotel quickly changed my mind and I'm already contemplating a return in the near future. The hotel is either a casual walk or a quick cab away from just about everything you could think of. Shopping is great. Food and multicultural experience is unforgettable. Thank you Expedia for a smooth booking and double thanks to Novotel. We'll be back!
The hotel was very good, within walking distance to the theatre for the show we were seeing.
The room was comfortable and quiet during our stay, I would reccomend the Locarda restaurant for dining, the food and service was excellent.
My daughter & stayed in this hotel for two nights.
We flew into Melbourne from Sydney & took the Skybus to Southern Cross railway station where we then jumped on a shuttle bus (provided as part of the fare by Skybus) that took us straight to the hotel - very easy & pretty cheap all things considered! Certainly cheaper than a taxi - I was quoted around $70 each way...I think Skybus was around $30 return pp.
The room was really lovely & modern, recently renovated? The bathroom, while small, was very modern, clean & functional (no bath but we weren't looking for a bath). We slept in a queens sized bed which was really comfy & our 6th floor room overlooked Queen St & the city.
The location was excellent easy walk to Melbourne Central, Queen Victoria markets (trams from here), Lygon St (about 15 mins easy walk) & La Trobe Street (around 2 minute walk) has trams to just about everywhere including the City Circle tram.
I used the gym & it was great. Very compact but all the equipment that was required to have a good workout. There was also a shower & toilet area for gym users. All the equipment was very modern & easy to use. If you want to listen to the tv (there were around 4 or 5 tv's attached to the treadmills) wireless just won't do. You will need an aux cable to your smartphone or headphones you can plug in directly to the connection point.
Overall we loved the location & accommodation & would recommend it as a very reasonably priced hotel that has excellent amenities.
We have stayed at this hotel before and love that the city shopping is so close. The trams to all places are on your doorstep also. The hotel offers a great cocktail bar where we had a small meal also. As I travelled with my daughter we felt very safe around the hotel.
